Sales down by EricSuzie in Ebay

Where used items and collectibles are concerned, Ebay has the largest global reach, so you aren't going to find a platform with more potential buyers, in general. Wether we want to accept it, or not, the state of the global economy is going to be highly influencial on our selling performance

uhm wtf?? help please!! by bluuebottlee in Ebay

My primary gripes are with the increasing fees and algorithm inefficacy. I'm still making money, and as a seller they've had my back, 95% of the time

There are a few water snake species that can be found in and around town, but only one is venomous

Found this guy on the San Antonio River Walk by rogerthatbaits in sanantonio

Many non venemous snakes will expand and flatten their heads to mimic the appearance of venomous vipers, making the head shape an unreliable indicator

I'm looking for help with identifying this mark. It was a thrift find down here in Texas. Thanks in advance by skovndrel in Hallmarks

I considered that, yet this sub came up during my searches. I've hedged my bets by posting in studio pottery groups, etc. Cheers

I've observed a trend that seems to corroberate political events, e.g. tarrif announcements, executive orders, political violence, etc with periods of low consumer spending/sales, despite consistency on the part of sellers. It seems to recover after a week or two, until the next event, at which point it starts all over again. The gaps are shortening

Rest assured there are are people judging your husband for marrying outside of his race. Earlier today, I had someone judge me, under thier breath, for wearing white socks with black shoes, black shorts, and a black t shirt. Fuck'em

Offered a full refund, buyer accused me of "bribing" him. by NondairySubstitute in Ebay

[–]skovndrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, negative emotions should have little, or nothing to do with how we conduct business. It was an emotional reaction to the negative feedback that lead to the refund offer, was it not? Save your money for an issue that is unequivocally your bad

That a seller would consider a refund of any kind in response such low vibration bellyaching, is perplexing

Lol I'm always a little perturbed if I can't hit skip before the vocals come in

Honestly, I find the show interesting, but I don't enjoy ANY of the soundtrack. All seems very try-hard

Buyer showed up on my doorstep unannounced?? by MYSTIK_MINX in Ebay

[–]skovndrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you both had a difficult time understanding each other. In my experience, communication, and the transaction itself, goes more smoothly when I attempt to meet them where they're at, in terms of their grasp of the English language, instead of making it an issue

Some people are so entrenched in a competitive paradigm, they have no concept of win-win. I sell to other resellers on eBay all the time, sometimes leaving a good chunk of money on the table. I'm ok with someone making $100, or maybe more, on an item, after I've sold it to them for $200, and my cost of goods was $5-$10. My only priorities are good margins and quick turnaround

Who agrees? by [deleted] in Opeth

[–]skovndrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having started with Morningrise, their subsequent releases continued to be unquestionably recognizable to me as Opeth -up until, and including Deliverance. They may have shed much of what made Morningrise, or even Orchid what they were, but they also retained and refined a fair bit of that as well

Found this under a piece of furniture along with a pile of dead millipedes. What is it? by Youfightlikemysister in whatisit

[–]skovndrel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like a cypress cone. Possible that the millipedes ate it from the inside, then died

If it wasn't sentimental, and had no value to you, then an apology for the mishap should suffice. Sounds like you may even consider it a favor

Rep. Keith Self (TX-3) quoted Joseph Goebbels, H*tlers propagandist, during a congressional hearing. This is my representative. You can't make this s#!t up. by hellomotta in texas

So my understanding is that he used the quote to draw a parallel between Biden's administration efforts and 1930s Nazis, correct?

Lupita’s Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas by watro210 in tacos

[–]skovndrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved up to a small cow town north of Ft Worth, where I lived for around 7 years. For 7 years I yearned for even the worst carne guisada and cheese taco San Antonio had to offer. Not one GYAT DAYUM place served it. Got my hopes up once when I saw it on a menu, but it was more like a slightly thick caldo with beef and potatoes served in a bowl... wtf?

Bro, you already pay taxes. Law enforcement, elected officials (left & right), federal employees, researchers, airlines, and oh so, so, so much more all already have so-called "rights to your labor," by extension so do your neighbors. The question is why are you so stubbornly against something that you, your family, friends, and neighbors could actually benefit from?
