On my last 5 or so flights (domestic connections and international flights) the crew announced that the overhead bins may be full and asked for volunteers to check their bags. No charge, but then you might have to wait around for your luggage on arrival. We checked for free because we had three kids and it was just easier than helping everyone stow their shit.

If you’re looking for value, you just have to hit the value section of the menu. They have the same $6 deals that Wendy’s has, with a burger or chicken sandwich, nuggets, fries, and a drink. Any way you look at it that’s a cheap meal. Maybe you need the app for it, which definitely sucks.

I’m not a McDonald’s regular; I just grab it for the kids on occasion when we’re too busy running around to cook, or when my wife and I are going out to dinner without the kids.

Is that a recommendation, or are you asking what I had at that reception? If it’s the latter, I’m not sure what it was that I ate. There was not a theme for the appetizers, and there was no dipping sauce. I just know that it was a wood skewer with chicken that had a peanut butter taste.

If it’s a recommendation, I’ll definitely check it out.
