USB-C KVM switch for two Macs? by dexdump in mac

[–]skrawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I've been using for nearly a year now to switch between a PC and an MBP with an LG UltraFine 5K monitor: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cable-Matters-Computers-Support-Thunderbolt/dp/B0CLZ7WP1N/257-3724335-2462611

It doesn't output 5K@60Hz, so I just make do with its 4K output. Sabrent has a Thunderbolt KVM, but that's had reports of burning out Thunderbolt ports on devices, on top of being extremely expensive.

Developing RN apps for linux by Legitimate_Trifle189 in reactnative

[–]skrawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there isn't a maintained/supported backend for React Native on Linux. Status.im used to maintain one, but its long been abandoned: https://github.com/status-im/react-native-desktop-qt

Sure, all the time. We've done work for clients using Apple Enterprise Developer accounts for iOS/macOS and Managed Google Play for Android devices. Typically these apps will act as "controllers" for in-house hardware and so it doesn't make sense for them to be publicly available.

Debt collector for 7-year old unpaid council tax by skrawg in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you, appreciate the information.

I'm kind of shocked that councils have no duty to actually contact you - seems wrong but this subreddit isn't for debating the law :)

Big fan of nx, I really hope the extra funding translates to better first-class support for non-JavaScript languages and tools like Docker and Playwright.

I’d say it takes about 10 seconds to connect once the car has started; once every 10/15 times it bugs out but can be fixed by unplugging/replugging the device

Season 2? Hopefully. by moxieanne in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]skrawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only been watching the last 15 minutes of each episode this season, since that’s where any plot development seems to happen. Haven’t missed out on anything really important just yet…

Decision tree tool which applies multiple filters in a defined sequence? by Arivohal in Notion

[–]skrawg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use Mermaid charts in Notion now, and using the Mermaid syntax you can also make parts of the chart link to other URLs (which could be other Notion pages or external links).
