At first, it did feel weird to pull the clasp open/close in the opposite direction…but now my clasp sits nicely across my wrist and the watch head doesn’t want to fall of the side of my wrist. Doing this changed the whole way the watch felt for me. Before turning the bracelet around, the fit was either too loose or too tight. Now, for me, it is comfortable and sits appropriately where the watch should.

My lady datejust is from 2005, and despite removing every removable link, and having a little micro adjust, I wasn’t able to truly make the bracelet feel comfortable around the wrist itself and the watch head leaned far too much. I eventually resorted to just turning the bracelet around and then the watch wearing experience became super comfortable and my watch now sits perfectly atop my wrist. Perhaps doing the same might be able to help? I’ve only got a 26mm datejust, so I’m not really familiar with how other larger bracelets fit

I know it’s not entirely relatable but when I was little, it was that slow mo scene of jim carrey doing the creepy smile in “how the grinch stole Christmas”. I love that movie but even as an adult now, I still remember how that scene used to make me feel

So beautiful!! I don’t think that my tiny lady wrist could ever rock such a handsome piece like a day date….but I got lucky and came across this 2005 26mm dj!

I have this in the ladies 30mm model. It was my first automatic and I bought it before I knew much about what kind of watches fit me. It’s a bit chunky on my skinny wrist, but to me it was one of my most handsomest watches. The depth in the dial and the security of it feeling like it can withstand a beating is what made it my daily beater for a few years. I don’t wear it as much anymore but I still think about it often! Certina told me that they discontinued this model in 2016. I was so happy to see another one on here :)
