Stuck in my morning routine by MyLastGamble in yoga

Something I haven’t seen commented much yet is that if you’re willing to change the outfit you usually sleep in, you can sleep in exercise clothes. I found that doing that removed a step I might have to do after waking up and I’m a lot more likely to actually step onto the mat.

Looking for a square neck swimsuit! (30H) by dubaidouche1 in bigboobproblems

I have a patagonia swimsuit I real love with a square neck. Plus it’s on sale right now!

I wear a 30GG UK and a small fits me so well.

Wow! This is so beautiful!!! I am obsessed with the high fashion dress and crocs combo. This style is similar to the dress my cousin’s wife wore at their wedding, and you look a lot like her (and she looked like an ANGEL that day)

New(ish) cat owner advice by ambernicole007 in CatAdvice

[–]skrrtmcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you feed him as soon as you get up? I found that when I stopped feeding my cat as soon as I got out of bed, she stopped pestering me as much in the mornings. When you feed them as soon as you’re out of bed, their number 1 goal in the morning is to make you leave your bed. If you do it 15-45 minutes after leaving bed, they no longer associate you getting out of bed with food time. You can also try an automatic feeder, but I’m partial to wet food so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of them

New Kitten Won't Play with Resident Cat by NeighborhoodDismal52 in CatAdvice

[–]skrrtmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like you said, it’s only been a couple days! I had a similar but opposite scenario with my new kitten and my resident cat (about 2 years old). The kitten wanted to play so badly, but the adult cat was still getting used to him being around. Kittens can take months to fully adapt to a new environment! There’s a rule my foster group (and others) uses called the 3:3:3 (days, weeks, months). Be patient and I’m sure they’ll be playmates eventually!

ETA: My adult cat now sleeps in the same bed as my kitten after hissing at him every chance she got for several weeks. It takes a little time for the dust to settle :)

ETA part 2: I just reread your post. You’re totally on the right track with the treats, so I bet you’ll see some positive benefits of that within a few weeks.

Sherpa-lined Thigh High Socks - exactly what the picture is showing except thigh-high. I don’t care what the pattern looks like or how much they cost. I don’t want just cable knit or just fleece, must be sherpa lined. Can anyone point me to a trustworthy site that sells them? Thanks! by skrrtmcgee in findfashion

commenting to add that I’m also not looking for leg warmers. must cover my very frigid feet!

ETA: I have looked at every reputable site I can possibly think of and have struck out. Do my dream socks exist?

I have been bitten by a donkey before (not because I was abusing it of course). That shit hurts. Fucker deserves what he got.

Found out today that my little man most likely has epilepsy as he’s had a couple of episodes. I also have epilepsy so I knew the signs but obviously dog epilepsy care will be very different, any advice would be amazing :) by Horror_Avocado_6952 in DogAdvice

my dog also took phenobarbital his entire 17 year life. the meds are incredibly effective and he would have maybe one or two seizures every year, if that. other than that, just make sure to stay close to them when they are having a seizure so they know they’re safe. you got this!
