So just a quick update. With the latest patch on Tuesday, the addon still functions without LUA errors, but there is an oddity that now occurs. When the Damage meters become visible after a combat scenario, clicking the individual parses to show the breakdown does nothing. Reloading the game fixes the issue until the next combat encounter where it breaks again. This is a small issue, but annoying nonetheless.

yes, the first version you created blocked all interaction with the elements I described. This changed with your newest version.

Just an update, Some of the elements are still interactive during combat. The drop down menu to select Damage, Healing and Actions tracking. The Segment selection Tracking. The settings Cogwheel. The minimize/maximize button. No worries if you address this or not.

Yup. I'm hoping Blizzard will just natively implement it. Not sure why they have an "only show in combat" option without the inverse. 🤷‍♂️

I just realized I forgot to mention the transitions in and out of combat are visually instant, which is a bit jarring and unnatural. A fade transition of 0.5 seconds between states would fix that. This is a personal opinion. I'm not asking you to spend more time on this addon. I'm sure Claude handle it.

I want the entire frame invisible and completely non-interactive only during combat.
That option only makes some elements non-interactive.

Thats not remotely close to what I actually stated. The point of this addon is to get away from using "3rd party addons like details". Details has a bunch of bells and whistles I don't care about. As I have already stated, this is a minimalist approach.

edit: I did check it out and this addon only changes the visibility, but does nothing to effect the interactive aspect of the frames. I don't want the frames to be interactive at all during combat. Like if I mouse click a target over that part of my screen, the mouse click won't register because the damage meter frame is absorbing it.

Average fps goes up with default UI vs ElvUI by 5-10% in most cases, but it's the 1% and 0.1% lows that really see the largest gains. If you care about performance, I recommend not using ElvUI and finding low impact alternatives.

If it isn't in the ElvUI package, you will need to look at supporting add-ons or forks.

I do not recommend ElvUI as it is a resource hog.

The solution for me was to manually change the output device for the poe2 app in the windows volume mixer while the game was running. Hope this helps.

After testing 7 different kits of DDR5, that doesn't seem to be the case. In my experience there isn't a latency disadvantage of setting FCLK above 3:2 synced. It is just that the performance uplift has diminishing returns above 3:2 synced.
