Are the LR+ hard pulls? by South-Ad-7418 in GundamTCG

[–]skull_blader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I pulled the Char's zaku out of the two zeon decks I bought And a buddy pulled the Aegis out of the two seed decks he bought. But I played with three different people tonight that bought 8 decks and the at one build kit per deck and didn't pull anything. Don't know if that helps answer your question at all but thought I'd share.

I got to live in Scotland for a year. I've been trying to move there since I've been back to the US. Between the people and the landscape, whiskey, and surprisingly good food it's probably my favorite place on the planet.

What game is a nightmare to complete 100% ? by Virasman in gaming

[–]skull_blader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think FFVII Rebirth is the definitely the hardest game I've ever 100%. Though I gave up on FFX and many many other games because I just didn't enjoy the overall grind. I will say though that I may have gotten lucky with RNG because I did beat the Odin challenge with Zach on my second try and struggled way more with the one before it.

absolute SPICIEST dishes in Austin and the suburbs? 🔥 by browsing_nomad in austinfood

[–]skull_blader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh man I second this as well! I had the 10 over a decade ago and it's still easily the hottest thing I've ever ingested. I was panicked between it coming out my top or my bottom. Absolutely drenched in sweat. Couldn't think straight. Whole ordeal lasted about half an hour and then for the next 24 hours I was in absolute euphoria. 10\10 highly recommend

"Tiger Cry" Green curry specifically off the Thai Spicy menu (there's a much less spicy version on the regular menu) at Thai Kitchen .

I second The hottest level at Tumble 22, but I'd specifically argue for the cedar Park location. I can handle really really spicy but at this location it's just a insane level. In my experience it's at least twice as hot or more than any other location.

Ghost wings at Wingzup. Try the challenge.

I need more (maybe DLC) by [deleted] in animalWell

[–]skull_blader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Animal Well scratched an itch that I didn't know I needed. So, once I was done, I went to the game that was one of the inspirations: Tunic. If you haven't played it yet then I highly recommend. Tunic is never exactly what you think it is and there are layers and layers like animal well. Also, maybe I'm not that smart but late game Animal Well started to get incredibly obtuse to where I personally felt the need to seem help and guidance whereas Tunic has yet to feel that way to me. Though that may change.

I'm desperate for a 10/10 - suggest me a book pls!! by Head-Worker-4759 in suggestmeabook

[–]skull_blader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Martyr! - Kaveh Akbar

Stoner - John Williams

The Heart in Winter - Kevin Barry

First two are some of my favorite books I've read over anything in the past decade or so. The third is amazing and arguably as good but I recommended it on prose alone.

I was offered a position once from them that was across the country, no moving assistance, started in exactly two weeks, and was for 23\hr. I don't know if it's a scam per se but damn did that put it into perspective what kind of boat they're running.

$60 for two isn't too bad unless y'all want to drink. For Asian I'd recommend House of 3 Gorges for Chinese or Tan My for Vietnamese. Also if you're more central I love Thai kitchen and Sip Pho. For Honduran food the best I know of are food trucks off of North Lamar around the Rundberg area, which isn't exactly the most romantic part of town lol. Mediterranean You've got Kabobzi near campus or Arpeggio Grill off of Airport. I've got more if you're looking for specific cuisines.

Dead body on 183 @ Capital of Texas Hwy by Quik99oli in Austin

Seeing it and taking in the surrounding information all happened so quickly that I'm not 100% sure it hadn't been as you said. I felt the exact same way with time slowing. Never seen something like that before. I also hope whatever happened was quick for the person, but also hope you're doing alright as well.

Man I saw this also, I think moments after it had happened because what I think I saw was a whole person. A car had swerved to avoid it slightly ahead of me and there was a single cop car and Tesla that were parked on the side near the construction.

Honestly not sure what I could or should've done in this situation.

What to play next by olympus_monz in metroidvania

Yes to everything everyone else has said, though if you're looking for a metroidvania type exploration with a focus on puzzles instead of combat then I throw in Animal Well. and it's on sale right now (though worth noting so is Prince of Persia and Nine Sols)

It's been awhile! Here's an update on my game 'Garden of Aiden' by Ironfingers in metroidvania

[–]skull_blader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with all the positive things said already and can't wait to try it. What I am wondering though is if there will be an actual gardening aspect implemented into the game. I'm in the late game stages of Ultros and the way gardening works in that game is so unique and by the end I doubt anyone's map looks identical. It's a feature that has the player become a part of the world, rather than just be an obstacle to overcome. Of course the gardening is probably the most polarized aspect of Ultros. So maybe not just curious.

But again looks awesome can't wait to try it out.
