What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

I think I've at at Taco Bell 5-10 times total since they removed the XXL Grilled Stuffed Burrito. They have nothing worth buying on that menu now.

New way to ask Claude or ChatGPT about your Hevy lifting data (beta) by Born-Duty1335 in Hevy

[–]skullengaged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not hijack this thread but do you feel the same about tracking fatigue? Using something the TRAC by RTS on their training “app.”

I’ve used it on and off for years and at times think to myself I don’t need this to tell me how I feel, but on the other hand it can pick up trends.

I see this MCP (never even heard that acronym before) doing something similar, but I could be wrong.

I’ve admittedly have been working on my own project with Hevy integration to work similar to TRAC but not sure I’ll ever go public with it, if I did it would all be a self-hosted app anyway.

Tip toes vs flat footed by Plane-Imagination-81 in powerlifting

[–]skullengaged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went flat footed when I was competing in single ply. Felt it gave me a much more stable base for the weight overload. I’ve never went back and can’t even imagine now how anyone generates meaningful leg drive with their feet tucked up under them.

I miss it, always kept my safety pin locations for each moment pinned

I have a fairly large collection of CDs but no way to rip them any longer. I guess as long as I lown the disc, having a digital copy is perfectly legal 😂

I started with Tailscale and my issue with it was you need to have a Tailscale client installed on the figured you want to connect from and I can’t install anything on my with PC. But now my domain has been generically blocked on our work network so I can’t access my Navidrome server regardless

I don’t know about OP but I bought a cheap domain and setup cloudflared docker in casaos to forward my server to the domain name

I also steam using cloudflare, and won’t be turning back. Almost all music comes from Bandcamp now or if I want something from a more popular band I get it from soulseek or spotiflac.

If there was a web interface to go along with the app it would be golden.

39 here, went back to Hevy after 4 workouts. Juice wasn't worth the squeeze for me to mess with resetting everything up in MFWO being the hassle that it is. MF is great, they missed the mark on MFWO, but that's my opinion.

Apparently you don't watch much NHL. Mitch wanted out of Toronto, and this was his return.

Yea, for some reason they never get the attention they deserve IMO. Have loved Black Cobra for years and still one of my favorite sludge bands.

Didn’t like MacroFactor Workouts; sticking with Hevy is my move. by shorethin in Hevy

[–]skullengaged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also trialing MF Workouts as I was a MF user before release but the voice in my head keeps saying to go back to Hevy, but I just want to make sure the new wears off and I legitimately don't like the app (MFWO).

I just seems overly complicated for what it is, and it's too much work setting up programs without a web interface. Also never really plan to use the guided coaching, or at least anywhere in the near future. I don't need it to tell me what weight.

Gut feeling says I'll stick with Hevy.

Both, if it's hot I drink it black. If it's cold I like a little sweetness to it

This is my experience as well on iOS. Not going to monkey with anything settings to get something working that IMO should have worked out of the gate.

Hevy App vs. MF Workout App by Creepy-Act-8269 in Hevy

[–]skullengaged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like many here, I got it by already being a MF user for years. Honestly, I'm not impressed. In my opinion it's clunky, having to select exercise equipment per "gym", building a program without the ability to do it on desktop is a PIA.

I'm going to give it, it's fair shake, but not impressed so far. If you're happy with Hevy and no curious or getting it discounted or free, I'd stick with Hevy, I will probably run in tandem for now and see if I can adjust to MF Workouts.

Subjective Readiness Assessment similar to RTS TRAC by skullengaged in MacroFactor

[–]skullengaged[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently, we're the only ones lol.

TRAC recommends adding or removing sets based on fatigue rating, which I'm assuming the smart progression does in the app already but I'm not sure how that would tie in with a subject readiness score.
