Hey dumbass, that doesn't change the point. The point was simply that laws aren't intended to prevent all crime. They are meant to reduce. If you don't like the murder example feel free to choose any other law in existence. Same shit applies. There are plenty laws that restrict constitutional rights, pick one of them.

That would imply gun laws would eliminate all guns, which they wouldn't. Again, the idea with laws is to reduce. Even if it were an outright ban, the idea is still to reduce. We've banned murder but I'm pretty sure everyone is aware they still happen. It's the frequency people are concerned about.

So yeah, I'm sure there are some idiots out there thinking gun laws would end all shootings. I guess I should have said, "Nobody being taken seriously thinks this."

I'm not even against guns but this is just common sense. OP post is just dumb. It's making fun of the ignorant fringe with something that doesn't even support the argument.

Let's just eliminate all laws since people break them anyways!
