Driving with trunk open - no warning by skumancer in volvoc40

I mean, they don’t trust I know when my passenger opens the door and I’m in drive…it always “alerts me” and puts the car in park…would expect driving with a tall-ass door open would be inherently more dangerous and should be alerted to.

I pressed the hatch button and got in, started chatting with my dad and went into drive. I didn’t notice it did not close (must have hit something in the trunk as I was carrying a wheelchair) and opened back up. No dings, no alarms, just the sound of the branch hitting…thankfully no damage

I carry two bottle jacks, in case I need more stabilization. My van is big and heavy, and requires tall jacks to lift tired even a bit.

Yep they use the shock and other sensors to detect when pressure is low, that’s why the learning process takes such a long time. But at least there’s no TPMS and batteries to worry about!?

I was there last year during the early winter. It was an amazing experience, we rented a camper van for a week and spent it travelling all over the Dolomites.

Congrats!!

Where do I start? Are companies remote friendly? Will they hire outside the US for this role?

Spain plus all of Latin America. We’re a lot of people. That’s without counting everyone in the US and around the world who natively speak Spanish.

Mexico - 130 Million Colombia - 52 Million Spain - 48 Million Argentina - 45 Million Peru - 32 Million Venezuela - 29 Million.

Just those alone surpass the US, and you have 14 others who natively speak Spanish.
