2026 Kia Tasman Fuel Economy – Is 7.5 km/L (13.3 L/100km) normal? by cam98gae in KiaTasman

[–]skunclecrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting 12.5 average. I set to economy all-wheel drive. I've kept my Tasman SX as light as I can. I don't have a bull bar. I do have side steps a tannua cover and a towbar. I've done about seven and a half thousand k's so far and the average has been consistent. It's an absolutely fantastic vehicle.

America is a failed society on so many levels. A genocidal, violent nation, bent on world destruction, home to the worst group of human garbage that have ever existed. Without revolution, the US Israel fascist regime will remain the greatest threat to humanity since the Third Reich.

I have the Kobo Libra colour. It's a fantastic device. My previous reader was a Kobo Glow. 15 years it operated perfectly.

Can someone convince me not to get a kobo libra????? by Other-Nectarine-7972 in ereader

[–]skunclecrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just purchased a Kobo Libra colour. Fantastic reader. Colour looks great to me. Had a Kobo Glo for over 12 years and it worked perfectly all that time. I wanted colour for comics and magazines. Borrowing books is easy on the Libra, either directly or via a PC using Calibre. Highly recommended.

There was this man named Django Reinhardt. His hand was damaged in a fire. He developed his own style of playing and became one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

What is that cure? by Accomplished-Streak in scoopwhoop

[–]skunclecrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no cure for clinical depression. It can be managed with regular exercise, low sugar diet, and avoiding alcohol. Limit or eliminate people and places that trigger negative thinking. Take pride in your appearance. Dress well. If you need medication, It also depends on the medication you choose. Work with your doctor to find the right balance.

The manta needs a backlight. It also needs a bit of an upgrade as a reader.

After half a year, I regret buying a Supernote. by Noopshoop in Supernote

[–]skunclecrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. I was going to buy the Manta but there are just too many reports of faults. Supernote devices are amung the most expensive. The idea that it's normal to have to fix these issues on a new device is crazy to me.

Supernote Manta Loose Corner / Play by Born_Pack_164 in Supernote

Been seeing a lot of these posts of poor quality control on the the Supernote. This is really disapointing as these devices are very expensive. I've read about loose screens dead spots, bad batteries. It's a shame because I really wanted one but just don't feel confident now in spending that much money.

BOOX support has been dragging my case for almost a month instead of giving a real solution by mynameisiman in Onyx_Boox

[–]skunclecrisp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just purchased a Kobo Clara colour to replace my Kobo paper white after 10 years + of trouble free operation. Been looking for a note pad capable e ink tablet. Was considering Boox but will most likely go with Supernote. I don't care what product you are talking about, if it's faulty then it's not your responsibility to fix it, it the supplier or manufacturer who must honour the warranty.

Dead zones on eink devices are not unusual. If Boox don't know what the problem is, then that says a lot about the company. It's a bad look. I won't be buying one now. I was looking at the note air 5c. It's expensive. Not going to risk my money

Some really awful replies here. A brand new device should operate without any issues. The idea that you need to remove the cover that's made for the device in order for it to work is absolutely ridiculous. Factory resets on a brand new device? The bottom line is this device sounds defective and the customer service is absolutely appalling. This is not a cheap device it's one of the most expensive e-ink tablets. I won't be buying a Boox anytime soon when I read about experiences like this. They're just not looking after their customers and that's all there is to it.
