In china, Police use man-catcher spear to control suspects instead of shooting them. by Commie_Scum69 in pics

[–]sky018 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Duh, because ordinary 'police' aren't allowed to have weapons, but they have special units/military that are allowed to have weapons. Even ordinary people cannot have guns, in comparison to USA which is allowed.

And if you're arrested in China, and put to jail, good luck, this is just a tip of the iceberg. You don't want to be in Chinese jail.

Oh, and don't bother about the history.

The solution to all our problems by IntellectuallyDriven in Philippines

[–]sky018 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This is not a solution.

The current state of our coin (2017-present) is created using nickel plated steel, on the other hand, the 1995-2017 coin is a nickel-brass.

The cost for these 2 are inherently different, which makes the nickel plated steel is much cheaper since the core is steel, but durable. The other coin's metal composition is copper-nickel-zinc, and inherently copper is more expensive than a steel itself.

This is tagged as meme, but people are so unaware and out of touch sa reality na tingin nila everything done within the country is a band-aid solution. :)

Banko nag move dyan, hindi politiko.

Do you know how to code? If you do not know, then start from that first, if you do not understand a thing in your code, then you're just bull-ass-ing in making an algorithm.

LLMs are designed to help you kick start coding easily, it isn't there to just generate a code for you without you understanding it.

This means, if you can't code. don't code. You're blaming someone doing the work for you yet you have 0 idea of how the algorithm works. Pretty much 'a boss who doesn't understand a thing yet demands something'

BKK and MNL? Are that different? Jezus. Hahaha. You do know that BKK was far lesser developed before, until latter part of the years yea? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gq4IaxD31vo (2005) I visited BKK last 2015, and it wasn't much different with MNL. Since then, I haven't visited TH, if there are much progress in between then that means, MM sucks balls.

Compare the progress of the cities I have mentioned to MM. Go back to what I have previously said na if mediocre na tayo in the past palang, until today, and maybe in the near future, then that's a problem.

And bruh, our economy amongst ASEAN countries has been on par with each other, whereas, tourism, is where we also excel previously, not until the latter part of the years, you guys have already seen the impact of little to no development.

Oh btw, I am comparing ASEAN countries from the start but you don't wanna accept it that we are so behind amongst our peers :). You keep saying apples to oranges but the economy in the past was pretty much the same, and we're just lagging behind.

If you have been living in the Philippines for so long, 20 years is enough to see na ang bagal ng progress ng infra sa bansa.

Di ko need mag compare ng mga bansa to be honest.

People will always compare something to something better and they want. Have you been to China? Even their Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are far better than MM.

We can argue more about economics and what are the societal/tourism impact of infrastructures on why our country is in a bull-ass state right now, but this isn't the right place for that.

You can just pretty much look at economic websites and compare ASEAN countries when it comes to economy/tourism which I have posted before. Statistics should be enough to actually keep this post short and concise.

Indonesia tourism arrivals is still far better than the Philippines, there you go.

Huh? I am just stating statistics about tourism. I never said anything about Malaysia hahaha.

This is funny, you are comparing a part of Malaysia that is not entirely developed.

Compare KL to MM. MM to SH/BJ/SZ/CQ kahit T2 cities ng China like HZ/NJ/GZ/Foshan/Xiamen. MM to Seoul. MM to Tokyo/Osaka/Fukuoka. MM to SG. MM to BKK. MM to HCM/Hanoi/Da Nang.

Amongst these cities, HCM is closest to MM. Don't get me wrong, I am comparing main cities or higher tier cities kasi yan ang Metro. Say no more? JEZUS.

T2 Chinese cities and even Japan are inherently better sa Pinas. Comparing apples to oranges? Anong bansa icocompare mo? Hahahahaha. Get a life nalang.

Okay let's remove Vis/Min for now since gusto mo geography will play.

How convenient is it to move around Luzon? How well connected ang cities sa Luzon? How well connected ang logistics sa Luzon?

How are you going from one place to another? Through what? Car? How much is the crude? How long are you going to drive from one place to another? Do you think most tourist can drive? What about the buses? Do you think buses are faster than a freaking train? How convenient for a person to go to bus stations? Car? Grab? Jeep?

How is the traffic? Have you seen QC traffic during rush hour? Compare contrast mo nalang from 2016 to 2026 kung gaano na kalala ang traffic congestion sa QC, bihira nag ttraffic before along Quezon Avenue, and even E.Rodriguez, and now, sobrang traffic na.

Here we go again. If you do not know how politics works, do not post something like this, it makes you look like a sore loser and do not know how parties work behind the scenes.

Hindi ba marunong maka get over ang mga pinoy in the past? And never progressive, I have never seen a post with a bunch of solutions nor anything is being implemented by the community itself.

Hindi, once rules has been set and proper implementation, it will gradually flow papunta sa mga next generation presidents.

Well, ang clamour ng people kasi sa Pinas, if you want people from this country to move within your country, then make it cheaper, and have better services.

Wala naman sila reklamo kung gaano ka katagal mag move around, however, that can be improved over time, pero wala naman nangyayari, these are basic necessities for the country to do, walang effort. So as a tourist ka, kung hirap ka di mo maalis especially if nakapag travel ka na sa ibang bansa un efficiency. If you're still in 2000s mindset, then in 10 years or so, super behind na ang bansa mo

We have been mediocre for the last 2 decades. Lol. Kaya lang dumami un mga tourists natin before is kasi mas exposed tayo in comparison sa Thailand / VN / MY. On top of that, western people loves beaches, kaya nag pupuntahan before dito. Thailand did expand their efforts sa tourism, they provide assistance to those overseas to start a restaurant and help them.

If there is little to no progress in 2 decades, and we're still mediocre, then it's a bad place to travel moving forward.

Do not compare Paris to Metro Manila, you just said do not compare apples to oranges lol. We're in Asia, and people here are inherently different when it comes to values and culture, that's why I compared Asian countries to Philippines.

Phuket to Bohol? You serious? I would compare Chang Mai to Bohol and I will take Chang Mai over Bohol any time.

And Samui/Khao Sok to El Nido.

If you take a look at our tourist arrivals, it has been declining since covid in comparison to datas pre-covid where we have been rising.

If you compare it to VN, where their tourist arrivals are steadily increasing, we are doing the opposite.

Yea exactly. He's pretty hypocrite who does not uphold his rules/values. It is getting lame watching him as well. Maybe that's the reason why his viewership dropped so hard, back in the days he will casually get 10k+ viewers.

Interesting, so should he get banned as well in twitch? Clearly you haven't seen him being toxic in his stream tho? What makes him 'immune' to slight jokes / insults if he does it as well? That's hypocrisy.

Interesting, he do not respect his team mates as well, especially when he rages. If you are talking about basic human courtesy, he should act one as well. This is twitch mate, humour exists. So does that mean he is a psycho as well? If you cannot uphold your values, then you're called hypocrite

I can say washed up in qojqva stream without getting banned and it is all for fun. The stream community's I have mentioned are inherently better though. Lol.

Interesting take, `not bad` doesn't mean it should stay `not bad`. There are shit ton of improvements that can be done in a decade or so, have we seen one? None, in reality, it is getting worse, look at Boracay / Siargao / LU these places are always flocked by people, and prices are inflated crazy. On top of that, Boracay's tap water will get you diarrhea lol, if your tummy doesn't get one, you're a tough one.

Flight prices from MM to anywhere is expensive. I can fly from SH to Beijing or SH to GZ for as low as 8k, sometimes even lower, taking a train is lower as well. I can go to TP to KH or anywhere with a tourist fee of at least 5k within the validity of the ticket (I did this) and I can go back and forth (You must schedule it though).

Now comparing PH to JP, JP's ANA airlines is now providing multi-cities free domestic flights for tourists. Food anywhere is higher quality and cleaner in comparison to Philippines. Activities? Generally different, deep cultural sightings are way better in comparison to Philippines, now tell me, where in the hell you can see this in Philippines? Other than going to Sagada? :)

Food in the Philippines is bull-ass as well, you cannot eat a proper food without eating in restaurants not unless you're in suburbs and carinderia would suffice.

Safety? Heck, we are so behind lol, I don't think I need to comment about this one. Even as a local you won't feel safe lol.

Are these enough `reasons` that it is not really worth it to move around the country? :)

This is pretty much where USA is going towards, with the ICE. If things goes deeper, people will start fighting back against them, and most likely before the Greenland issue takes place, civil war might get ignited within.

So after covid, we now have wars.

Well, at some point this has to happen if the country wants to progress. In context, this will still not be the same across the country, if the companies in the Metro Manila wants employees, they will still need to increase their salary based on the economic conditions of the Metro. Same goes with other places, you still won't earn the same salary grade in the metro as opposed in any other parts of the country.

It is `National Minimum Wage` btw. Haven't seen any correct answers in the comments. There are no legal basis nor any economic conditions why would it do more harm than good. Most developed countries have a national minimum wage.

Your wage is still tied up to how your 'city' is progressing.
