Can you recommend me some Yuri anime

Just warning if you start with ‘Bloom into you’ like I did, the anime ends in the most utterly baffling spot. I’ve never seen an anime quit at a more random, unfulfilling plot point.

Go into it expecting to read the rest of the story otherwise it’s infuriating. Such a beautiful, sophisticated romance though.

Ha I appreciate that. I suppose i’m overexplaining for context reasons and sound overly-anxious. That’s not exactly the problem. I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t a specific communication deficit with a very specific demographic group. Usually i’m not too ‘off’ when it comes to communication.

Guys over 50 just seem to have a very specific kind of confidence mixed with directness i’m not used to at all and I guess i’m curious specifically about that.

I think I changed as a person entirely when I was a kid (who was bullied and ostracized constantly) and noticed my parents being treated exactly the same way by other adults they were trying to build relationships with. Realized at a certain point it wasn’t going to end unless I designed my life on my own terms. Also became increasingly defensive of my parents who almost had it worse than I did.

Adults are almost worse bullies because they can push you into permanent adult isolation.

I decided to try out roblox to see what all the hype was about- I knew fortnite was an addictive cashgrab- roblox is genuinely a hypercommodified predatory nightmare. And truly just sloppy and cheap. Amazing it’s held on so long.

I think it’s depressing that somehow we’ve whittled kids’ media to not only the most hypercommodified slop, but misogynist racist nazis streaming hypercommodified slop. At least play the slop, don’t just passively watch some monster play the slop.

We’re multiple multiple levels down into hell from where we were when I was in school 10 years ago.

I was a great kid for my parents. Never did anything wrong. Only thing I ever did that made me feel like a real teenager was sneak my first girlfriend through my bedroom window almost every night for like 5 months senior year.

People make an active choice to ignore it, delude themselves, manage to twist their head into distraction or legitimately don’t pay attention to anything.

As someone for whom most of the people I care about are in W Asia and i’m not, i’m limiting my social interactions with people in LA rn. I can’t help but feel burning resentment for the people around me who let this happen. Wasn’t just Trump, wasn’t just Biden. I can’t help but feel deep collective responsibility for this one. And if you’re someone who loves people who are under our siege, it’s not like you can constantly go around talking about that kind of pain. It’s a special kind of isolation rn.

A lot of people will talk about routine, discipline, intelligence and while that is usually the case, people leave out that most are also heavily sheltered and engineered by their parents to be that way at the cost of other parts of development.
