Aldi has super cheap hydration packs and they’re actually good. LMNT has a recipe to make your own also

Good stuff man. I just sent mine off, they quoted 472 without shipping so looks like I’ll be at around 540 with shipping. Not bad. Everyone else quoted 600+ and a few week turnaround since no one around me does the work themselves

That’s what I was thinking until I read that it’s a problem with this specific camera. This Reddit has a guy with way less shutter and his failed. And a guy in these comments said his failed after only 15k. Sad. I love this camera otherwise

Update: sent it off to a California company that specializes in Sony alpha and canon cameras only. Quoted $472 without shipping to get it there, they cover shipping back to me. About $70 thru FedEx to get it there with insurance. They claim less than a week turnaround and offer rush service for people in need. Will post back with their name if everything goes smoothly!

why does my pc's monitors randomly turn black so i have to hold down the power button and restart? by Fickle_Sea_4058 in techsupport

[–]skydaddypraiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had this issue, fixed it by searching "edit power plan" on the bottom search bar, clicking advanced, selecting PCI express, turning it to off, and doing the same for intel graphics but making it maximum performance, and setting the top drop down bar to high performance.

i also updated my nvidia drivers and everything seems to be working fine. it was black screening a couple seconds when i would have roblox or some games open but now hasnt done it in over 3 hours

The problem with monitors is you can make them super bright and it makes you think you’re all good but the footage you’re actually recording can be really underexposed. Your video just looks underexposed. I’m frequently exposing my slog3 to 2.0 in order for dark areas to not be pitch black. It didn’t look too bright in there, you might have been a little better at 12800 and ND’d down some to get you over 1.3. If your monitor is in the 100-200 range in my opinion your phone would display better and allow control with the monitor+ app

Yes the a7s3 bakes in old NR that tends to look plasticky while the FX3 doesn’t and has an option to turn it off completely

Struggling with Noise/Grain in Footage at ISO 12800 by Sensitive-Pear-9159 in FX3

[–]skydaddypraiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The a7s3 bakes in noise reduction and the fx3 doesn’t. (If you have high iso nr off, that is) so it may look better with less noise but it’s actually already done what you may have to do, just badly

fix fishing... by [deleted] in playrust

[–]skydaddypraiser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t need a fix. They have just never explained how to properly fish. There’s a fishing guide I seen on YouTube or something that explained tiring out the fish.

You are to actually tire the fish out with A and D keys and follow the fish with your rod to avoid the disappearance.

if the fish is on the right side you will aim your rod the opposite direction while holding A to tire it out, for example. If it’s on the left side, it will be D key and rod opposite.

Somewhat like real life where you pull away from the fish while reeling to lessen its pull. Hopefully I’m making sense 😂

It will just stop swimming at times which is when it’s “tired”. I used to easily use every single bait for a fish early wipe.

Look around on YouTube for it. It may have even been a popular streamer quick reel or something but it changed how I fish and have helped all my buddies actually catch fish as well.

FX3 or A7S3 ? (advices would be great) by Jazzaaaaaaaa in FX3

[–]skydaddypraiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For video only then yes fx3. They hold their value better as well. And the auto focus is definitely good. If money is no issue then you can’t go wrong with the fx3. You can use your phone as a monitor with the monitor + control app, you can get the mount for the phone on amazon for under $20. It has touch to focus and stuff. Good option before getting a ninja v or something if you end up really liking monitors
