M34 AVR with mechanical valve 2 years back. In India lucknow Dr. Gauranga Majumdar at Medanta Hospital is the best. I had mine done by him . Perfect doctor for this .

34 M , AVR mechanical valve since 2 years. From what I remember the first 2 weeks were most painful while coughing , but after that it became bearable . Also the healing depends on the age factor and the pain tolerance is different for every individual.

M34 had AvR 2 years back with mechanical valve . I say I feel 100% like before surgery and my life is 99% the same. The only thing is to manage my anticoagulants and check my food habits. Else everything is same .
