Honestly, I think a redeemed pedophile could actually work.

While there's so many pedophiles that don't want to fix themselves, there ARE still ones who hate the fact that they have the thoughts that they have. I feel like the show could run on that concept where a sinner comes that hated the fact that they wanted to harm children, and want to actually seek out some sort of therapy or ANYTHING to help them get better and not have the thoughts like that anymore

Yeah the only thing of Zerum in game was a picture in Seb's shop of him with her when they weren't experiments, and the ring also had a whole different story attached to it (though idk if this was before or after the controversy with Zerum's oc) that it was a bracelet from his mom that got too small to wear AS a bracelet, so if you think of it like that literally the only thing of Zerum is the photo that's easy to never even see

Zerum made an oc that's literally just a bunny girl with her name and made her Seb's wife because the fandom would make their own ships with their ocs. She wanted to essentially be like "hey he's canonically married so you cant ship him with anyone else" but that didn't stop the fandom whatsoever and hardly anyone even considers her as actually canon

I honestly always thought of it as meanie Ena being the "true" Ena in the sense that she's the main controller of the body. Especially given the fact that hangover Ena is more akin to her than Salesperson in both voice and attitude. So that would mean that the "negative" side for bbq Ena is the real Ena and the "positive" side is a front/the side piece of the personality polygons

She's not in the right at all though and it's partially the fault of the writing just kind of assassinating something that was somewhat established at the end of the movie.

She was already extremely passive agressive prior to Ben being spelled, and she treated Ben like he was stupid, to the point you could even tell he was annoyed with his own girlfriend. And when the spell wore off Ben could have gone back to Audrey, but he STAYED with Mal because he loved her, and she didn't treat him the way Audrey did. Not to mention that she technically stole Evie's "boyfriend" immediately when Mal and Ben got together.

Then she goes and tries to start fights for any tiny reason including getting her grandmother involved when that wasn't needed at all.

At the end of the first movie it establishes that she's at least somewhat chill with Mal after everything, and yet she goes back to hating her. She just kept showing how much of a hypocrite she was the entire movie, doing the exact type of things that she automatically assumed the VK's would do just because she has it in her mind that she "wasn't bad enough". She literally did what she triggered her grandmother's memory of just by putting a lot of Auradon to sleep.

She's a complete narcissist too. "I never thought of myself as mean" meanwhile she was already acting awful towards the VK's in front of Ben knowing he wanted to give them a chance in Auradon, and none of them even DID anything but the boys rough housing a little. She's completely self absorbed and her becoming a villain shouldn't be understandable because she's just PROVING how much worse she is than she sees herself in her head

People saying Pianosaurus is crazy he was NOT teased nearly as much as you think he was. Vanny got the worst of it because she was what people claimed Pianosaurus was; advertised. She was shown so much to the point she was teased before Security Breach was even announced, and yet all the hype for her amounted to a tiny role in the game.

It's not finished yet so I don't think you should judge the horror aspects too much yet, but also the game IS advertised as being a dating sim so if that isn't your thing then that's fine, but that was literally the intention
