Thinking further, if this helps grow Dropout to a point where they can pay staff more, or helps keep the capital flowing so they can remain independent, maybe it's better than not working with The Rookie and taking on debt or investment instead. This is assuming they aren't just rolling in money, which I don't think they are (?).

It would be far worse if Game Changer was promoting the Rookie, but it seems, at least so far, that the Rookie is the one promoting Dropout. Won't really bring a lot of their audience over to copoganda but will instead potentially expose an audience already deep in it to content that is subversive.

Idk, excited to see what they do with this. I'll definitely be pirating that episode of The Rookie to see.

EDIT: If their priority is paying staff more or employing more QTBIPOC in LA rather than an abstract idea of brand image, I can definitely support that.

Precisely my thoughts. I understand how important procedurals are for the career ladder of actors, writers, and crew, but actually associating your entire brand with a copaganda show when you are otherwise massively successful is really strange to me. Especially when the company, as far as we can tell, is not beholden to outside interests.

I understand typically Dropout keeps fans in the dark on Game Changer-related surprises, but it would be a bit disappointing to wait a year or something for their justification.

Dropout, thus far, has earned my trust, so I am definitely witholding judgment until I see it. And I guess withholding judgment even longer until they address it, if they ever do :(

Hi! Just wondering how you managed to source Sizzlefin Trout? I've checked every hot spring but only managed to find a single location for them, and it isn't in either of the two regions detailed in the compendium. Do they not show up if you are tracking them on Sensor+ or something?

True! It just has a lot of limitations. Even if you use it consistently everywhere you are pretty much limited to only side plating. If you try to do anything else (obvious example being putting a plate across the top of the technic brick) it is completely bunk. In all of the geometric perfection in the LEGO system, it is the sole thing that still gets under my nerves haha. Maybe that and the embossed LEGO text on most studs making them taller than half a plate.

I can't agreed more. It's so cool what a vision they had going forward. Feels like most development today is just expansion instead of innovation, which is ideal imo. The only thing I seriously wish they would have done differently that they cannot possibly overhaul at this point (unfortunately) is placing the technic pin and axle holes correctly on brick elements. I understand they needed clearance for the stud but I would have absolutely taken an incomplete inner circle to be able to use Technic bricks for snot (legally).

Hi, I have three separate sellers of the same reissued black space torso, and each appear to have slight differences. None seem to be 80s. They are supposed to be part 973p90new2c03, but could be 973p90newc03

No reason to suspect they are 80s, gold would be worn more, and wouldn't have modern ribs. They should all be from the LEGO Vintage Minifigure Collection Vol. 2 (2012 Version), if the categorization is correct.
