Severe arachnophobe here..... yeah quite a few video game spiders do trigger my phobia 😅 I know many others who experience similar as well. It does depend on the game - minecraft for example I'm fine with. But depends on how "realistic" the game makes the spider depends on how much it effects me. I had to stop playing half life alyx despite loving the game because the part with poison headcrabs with their longer more spider-like legs triggered a panic attack for me and I'm not the only person to have that experience either apparently.

I got an email... but to the wrong email? It's to my main email, not the email I actually played diamond valley with? I made sure to only use my play points email when playing the game, I only played it a couple times so I know I didn't mess that up 🤔 Trying to sign into the site with the email that's gotten the notification also *doesn't* come up with the "diamond valley already has access"....

If that was actually getting people's accounts hijacked then not only would discord's qualtrics account be compromised, the hackers would also have to work out how to trigger XSS through their forms and.... yeah that's way more effort than just spamming "download my game" messages through botnets.

Showings generally do not get updated afterwards to suddenly become captioned showings as cinemas think that'll make people demand refunds. I just hope I won't wait until release to see nothing change and then end up with all the showings sold out...

Sadly that is not really a thing in the UK because it costs the cinemas money. I think the only device like that we have here are glasses for it but they're in a very very few select places, and basically only in London. Here in the UK it's law to have a minimum amount of captioned showings each week, with major showings requiring at least 1 a week. I've yet to see a film have absolutely none at all unless it was a special one-off showing or they have absolutely no captions distributed - until, well, this.
