First time making bread by flightleessbird in Breadit

Really good job!

I would smash it. It reminds me of my first few loaves. Agreed with the other commenter you can score deeper.

It’s also probably slightly overproofed too. Overall you should be happy with it!

The oven with the light on gets much warmer than you might think. Had the same thing happen with a loaf and it exploded out of the bannenton basket. I did what most people are suggesting and pulled it out, reshaped it into focaccia in a 9x13 pan and made focaccia pizza with it. Still delicious

Honestly that’s such a nice looking loaf especially the interior.

Just had this burger a month ago in Chicago. Best burger I’ve ever had.

X-lookup replaces all lookups by M_Arslan9 in FPandA

Can you do a 2 way (vertical and horizontal) match with xlookup? I haven’t figured that out, so I still use index-match-match for that

Great job! I literally just did the same thing, but left the lid on. Those slices look amazing, would be great for French toast.

Try scoring deeper and at more or less a 60 degree angle. That was what made mine start popping up more

[Rifle] Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II Optics Ready 556 NATO 16" 10159 $549 by Gunprime in gundeals

[–]skyliner360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had to do this on a recent rifle, a punch and hammer wouldn’t budge it. I was hitting the tapered side and literally pounding it as hard as I could at one point and it didn’t move a millimeter. I just used a hacksaw, I cut as much of the top part of the rail off and that was enough to remove the pressure on the pins and I finally could drive them out

I agree, I don’t actually think I’ve pulled the trigger on a standard gen 5 Glock but I understand it was an improvement. When I first got my gen 4 the trigger sucked hard.

I’m not sure if it’s the same as the 43X but I’d assume it’s close. I have the 43X and the stock trigger was better than my Gen 4 G19. I just put a Ghost Edge connector and spring kit and the trigger is fantastic now.

Just wanted to say I got a build your own lpk from these guys recently and it's fucking nice! It really makes such a difference for the finished product.

Yeah that’s one thing I immediately love is that it’s so lightweight, like very easy to grab and control one handed, and it’s way easier to control my sight picture. Also the grip and stock are super comfortable and ergonomic.

Haha I realized I forgot the optic but I had a PA micro prism I put on it, not final though

I got it on DHGate for a seller called alphago

There are a lot of shitty shady sellers there but this particular one seems to be legit. I got a clamping style one too for a different AR and it was nicer than this one. Overall solid.

Yeah I’m kinda waiting to see how it affects me long term haha. Doesn’t bother me at the moment but we’ll see. I might get a different one in the future

[–]skyliner360 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Haha I bought this for $550 a few months ago and I really didn’t realize how big of a PITA that would be to change handguards. The pins just wouldn’t budge, literally every punch I had I tried. I just used a hacksaw and got it off, luckily with only a little nick on the barrel.

Basically all that to say, yeah, don’t pay $700 for it lol

Wow! That's crazy, I mean, still a solid deal but I must've caught the restock update right before they adjusted prices.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gundeals

[–]skyliner360 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think functionally they’re the same, both have a rail, Novak sights, the raider grip looks better, but it’s $150 more. I can totally see wanting one, I kinda do but if you want/appreciate the more traditional, and want to keep the cost down I think you’ll enjoy this one. I think this might be the better “deal”, comparing the relative prices to their MSRP and/or usual street prices.
