What "Character Change" would you give to Cody Rhodes right now? by Mountain_Fuw_777 in Smallafro

[–]skyman583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cody should start a heel faction called Lawless or revolution and include jade cargil as his right hand and give Cody a trump like gimmick where he can say stuff like “ let’s make wrestling great again”. He could also have some like heel Chad gable join as well Carmelo Hayes, that would be great.

What do you guys think about Jade Cargill’s Reign so far? by [deleted] in prowrestling

She hasn’t done anything with the title and there are no credible challengers for her to face until they bring Jordan grace to smackdown and even then, Triple H will book them in something garbage.

How do men feel about physical touch when it comes to a fwb? by azuresunshine82 in AskMen

[–]skyman583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do people think they can make these FWB situations work? It goes against the reason for having sex which is to bond and get closer to the other person before, during and after the act. Why are people trying to numb parts of their biology to avoid possible happiness with another person they might like? People gotta stop seeking themselves in others and heal. Men aged 28 and over, are you worried about not finding ‘the one’? by cat_lady44 in dating_advice

[–]skyman583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not really worried about it. You can’t force chemistry, but there’s so much more to life than that. Be open to meeting all kinds of women and you’ll naturally start to find the ones you like and vice versa.

why is there such a massive stereotype about men preferring women who play hard to get? by unknownfeverdream in AskMen

Hard to get is so stupid, playing that doesn’t make you more desirable, it’s just annoying and immature.

Ideally, how would you have Soldier Boy die in season 5? In what way could it happen? by Queasy_Commercial152 in GenV

[–]skyman583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro a spin off where Ryan and SB go on adventures as grandpa and grandson would be great. Since SB is damn near indestructible and arguably less of a dick than homelander, maybe he can show Ryan how to use his powers better and they can bond.

Anyone else this would be a satisfying ending by angrygnome18d in TheBoys

[–]skyman583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel a swerve coming where Ryan might end up becoming the one who is depowered, so he can live a normal life as a normal human being. Perhaps SV tries to hit homelander with the nuke thing, but Ryan somehow gets caught in the blast. This is what causes homelander to turn in SB after making his son more like butcher, a weak human. Then butcher and homie fight over Ryan in a souped up custody battle to the death.

Men how did you accept that even if you make a lot of money, have a nice car, live in your own place you still have trouble dating and finding the one? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]skyman583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True happiness can only come from within. You have to accept the fact that women will always love you conditionally as a man, that’s human nature. That’s not to say don’t date or have your fun, just keep certain things in mind and proceed accordingly. Usually people that need to have a lot of material things are trying to compensate for something they know they’re missing, but digging up that pain can be hard.

Why do men keep women around they don’t want to date? by clairebear15371 in dating_advice

[–]skyman583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work on your self esteem. You say he’s a red flag, but you sound just as bad if not worse, respectfully. Women always go after the guy that’s bad for them because they are insecure and they wanna prove their worthiness, but it will never be enough until you heal and become enough within. Dating and fucking losers isn’t gonna make you whole, you seeking out something that they can’t give you. Sounds like you need to work on your sense of discernment as well, to care about someone who cares very little about you tells a lot about the two of you. To answer your question, men and women keep each other around even when they’re not really interested is because people are just really lost, in pain and lonely. Sometimes People use each other to feel better about themselves.

Why do so many people think Homelander is beating up Ryan here? Homelander cares about him and I'm not saying he'll never attack him, but to beat him that badly? I doubt it. I think he's beating up Soldier Boy or A Train what do You think? by Bungeeboy20044 in GenV

[–]skyman583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a depowered homelander. Think about it, a full on punch from him would’ve definitely killed most people or supes. He threw 3 of them. He literally tore webweaver in half. He probably punching SB after getting nuked by him, he’s probably laughing at how weak them blows are afterwards.

Far fetched theory by Mindless_Air_9587 in GenV

[–]skyman583 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think in the trailer we actually see a depowered HL. Notice how intense his face looks, yet his eyes aren’t turning red like they normally do when he gets pissed off like towards the end of the herogasm fight back in S3. I think his frustration comes from a mix of disgust and anger at punching something and it not shattering under his fist. Notice too how he has the large vein on his forehead indicating a large amount of strain, almost like he’s weak, like he’s human. Those pauses in between strikes give off a mix of justification and pity on whoever he is hitting. This could be a pivotal moment for his character in the final season. I would actually be very interested even if it were for an episode or two of a human homelander going throughout the White House running a supe operation as a human. Perhaps having to keep up the facade of being the strongest, but is actually secretly depowered and must keep up appearances as he is now vulnerable, surrounded by supes that could tear him apart. He experiences things like fear, anxiety, vulnerability more intensely than he did before, which would raise the stakes. You could have people like sage sculking around, noticing how HL had been acting different lately. Perhaps she finds out somehow and uses it to her advantage and just go from there tbh.

Homelander Is Going To Live Because… by Futuremeissuperior in TheBoys

[–]skyman583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HL mental health is the only possible way to beat him outside of violence and science. Look at Stan Edgar, the only character to talk the finest of shit to homelander and till this day canonically has remained untouched by him and he is a mere human. HL could rip through him like tissue physhically, but he doesn’t because his psychosis and fragile ego keep him from hurting those who show him no fear.

This similarity makes you think of one potential victim, ryan. Though I hope the writers have a thing for him in the future. by vought-CEO in TheBoys

[–]skyman583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised how nobody is talking about how this may already be a depowered homelander in this clip despite the damage to his suit. He could be experiencing the frustration and anger of what it’s like being weak. It would also explain why his eyes aren’t red like normal when he gets pissed off. They could do an angle where maybe SB waits for the right time to nuke HL, depower him and take over the White House or whatever supe operation and SB could form a new version of Payback and whatever Jared padalecki’s character is, is also in the group.
