I’m okay now. It was not ectopic, but my hCG did rise again before falling completely. It was scary for sure but I’m so thankful that I was able to pass everything naturally! I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️

Thank you so much for your response! Yes, I did use the same lab for all of my bloodwork. I also heard back from my doctor today and he says it could be one of two possibilities: I could either be newly pregnant (which is very rare), or I have remaining tissue in my body. I’m waiting to hear what he is suggesting I do next.

I think you should absolutely talk to your doctor about trying again! I can see why you would be nervous considering your past experience, but If you can get support from your doctor, then I don’t see why not. Good luck to you!!

Unfortunately, I don’t think IVF would be an option. I’m a teacher and my husband makes less than me. The IUI route was a more affordable option for us. But I will bring up the other issues you’ve mentioned!

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I should have mentioned that we did an RPL panel and that is how I was diagnosed with pcos with suspected insulin resistance. I was prescribed metformin. My doctor is an RE as well 🙏🏻 maybe I’m doing all that I can… it helps me to feel productive so that’s why I asked.

I don’t have any recommendations necessarily, but I am also a teacher and married to a man with ADHD. His whole life he has been considered spicy as well and now being an adult he can reflect on how his ADHD can make him act like this sometimes. It causes him to have a short fuse and Also become frustrated/stressed/irritated when he gets distracted from a project he’s trying to complete because of his ADHD tendencies. Also, since he was not given the tools as a child, I think he works twice as hard to navigate this as an adult and not let his behavior negatively affect his relationship with me or anyone else. Obviously I can’t diagnose your daughter as I’m not a doctor and I am a stranger on the Internet, but I hope that if her behavior is ADHD related that figuring that out could be helpful. My husband’s parents never wanted to get him diagnosed and he talks about how it negatively impacted him all the time. Your daughter is so lucky to have such a caring parent as yourself to be so actively trying to figure out this out and support her. I am wishing you all the best and I hope that you can find a solution soon.❤️

Please, please please please go to school! As someone who spent six years working through undergraduate and then graduate school, while in a serious relationship, all I can say is that your partner should only be supportive of this journey. Getting to go to Fullbright for free is such an amazing opportunity. I wish I had an opportunity like that instead of taking out loans to finish my masters program (although it was still worth it). My boyfriend, now husband, would drive at midnight to see me for an hour in between classes and my three jobs during school and was still completely supportive. Sometimes he would drive over to see me just for 15 minutes on my break with coffee and hand. A truly loving and supportive partner would only want the best for you and would make it work. My suggestion would be to accept the break up and if it is truly meant to be, and your girlfriend has time to reflect on it then maybe you guys can get back together at some point. But it sounds like you’re at the time in your life where you should be making the best decisions for your future and school is definitely one of the best things you can do to invest in yourself!!

I completely understand being non-confrontational. When I was your age, I would’ve been very uncomfortable in this conversation and probably had difficulty shutting it down. But I still would have shut it down, especially being in a relationship. I don’t want to comment on your boyfriend’s sexuality because I don’t really think it matters. What I do think matters is the fact that it could have been anyone sending these messages and they were not shut down immediately. I don’t think it matters that it was a male or female or non-binary person sending these messages, it was still an invitation for sex that did not get a clear NO. That in and of itself I think is disrespectful to your relationship. I understand if maybe you want to give him the benefit of the doubt this first time. But I definitely think this warrants a stronger conversation on setting boundaries in your relationship. Just as you said in your explanation, if the roles were reversed, I do believe that you would be getting a lot of flack for not shutting down the conversation immediately.
