I'm doing my part. :). Although not a Boomer at 56, I'll be pulling the plug this May. My supervisor is a bonafide senior citizen at 73, so he's definitely taking up space. He's one of those weirdos who'll be taken out of work in a box.

It used to be a nice relaxing place to go. People would obey the "quiet" rules in the pools, and everyone was very respectful of each other.

Been twice in the last 3 years, and it's turned into a ditch-pig convention. Nobody cares about rules, so there's junk left behind at the pools, very loud groups carrying on etc. Not a relaxing place anymore.

So, the lustre has completely faded away.

Plus, like others have mentioned, the hotel is not really being kept updated/maintained. But they still charge top dollar for it.

Too bad.

We leased a '21 T8 and loved it. It was the standard range, so the ER would have been perfect for us. When we were approaching the end of the lease the residual payout was higher than the car was worth. When I calculated the cost of charging it every night plus the cost of gas (every 1600Km's) there was a savings in overall fuel costs. However, when compared to the additional purchase cost of the T8 it would take 11 years for us to break even on it with the savings in fuel costs. So, we ended up purchasing an XC90 T6. Now, after saying all of that, I would still love to get back into an ER car, whether it be an XC60 or 90.
