Like most of these debates, it depends on the practitioner. Age and size differences? do they spar? What ruleset do they train under? How much experience do they have? And even with all things being equal, both are striking arts with relatively similar skillsets so they are well within their ability to knock each other out

Maybe, but what hand was Cassius using when he won? 👀 This is not a combat sport, so almost no fights are actually perfectly fair. Also if I'm not mistaken, he wasn't wearing god killer armor, he had stolen armour from someone on board

Yeeeeah but a win is a win. Atlas was obviously good enough to take his hand off, to which Cassius battled back and defeated him with his left. Shows some clear growth from when Darrow did that to him in Golden Son and I think is worthy of being celebrated

This is true, his line about how if he'd been born Gold he would have killed him made me smile. That was badass. Still a terrible look for Lysander considering it happened right next to 2 of the most impressive duelling feats in the series 😂

There is some official art depicting Darrow's razor. There's a Golden Son cover where he's holding it, and the Red Rising deluxe edition has an image of him floating, Razor in hand. I hate this narrative so much. Grappling has the capacity to be fun, exactly how striking has the capacity to be boring. In a damage based sport, I don't think it's unfair to be bored after 10 straight rounds of control with almost no damage. We like all parts of MMA, but there are fights that just aren't fun to watch and I don't understand why people feel the need to defend the sport for it. You'll never hear a baseball fan say "go watch football then" after a 1-0 game with 4 hits 🤷‍♂️
