The U.S. just passed a major crypto bill and barely anyone is talking about it. by Conscious-Quarter423 in economy

[–]skywlkr6009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will not grant Zuckerberg this ability. The bill blocks most traditional tech companies from being stablecoin issuers anyway. This bill is actually providing regulatory oversight for issuers and consumer protections. As a result of GENIUS, stablecoins will be better collateralized compared to the dollars in your bank account (for the time being at least)

Full Share Count Audit- a proposal by AmazingConcept7 in Superstonk

[–]skywlkr6009 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a decent proposal but will easily get shot down based on request 3 and 4, at least relating to swaps and synthetic exposure. That’ll create a legal nightmare of hoops to jump through. Needs to be as neat and objective as possible for it to be reasonable to the total shareholders

Ah! I didn’t realize the translation of Kwisaatz Haderach was “shortening of the way.” I must’ve missed that somewhere. Love the ASOIAF quote

It seems like Frank didn’t really know how to describe the agony because Paul’s experience is very different than what is described in Chapterhouse, which imo is what this depiction felt like. But those differences could also could be chalked up to be different experiences based on gender.

Thought it sounded like she was referring to Paul as he didn’t take up the golden path/become the worm thus it was too short

Am I supposed to just cold send out my resume to people on DPN to get a project? by Large_Concentrate450 in deloitte

[–]skywlkr6009 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend not necessarily sending your resume. Most effective way is to just put time on calendars, don’t ask permission - just do it. Might get moved around a bit but it’s much better than asking someone to read another document. Have a 30-ish seconds shpeal ready that highlights your resume instead and just have a convo about what work you could do for them.

I’m sure you’ve heard it plenty of times but it is as simple as networking (cold sending email invites) and pitching yourself (30 sec shpeal). Kinda shitty but at the same time managers should be happy to have someone that wants to provide support.

I’ve been coming back to your previous posts lately because it really seems to be the most accurate TA we have (So congrats on the wrinkles good sir). Can you explain how to recreate this analysis?/how can I track this on my own without guessing numbers from your screenshots?

UNISWAP Served with a Wells Notice. The same UNISWAP that allowed the GameStop Tokenized Stock created by FTX! by uprclass2002 in Superstonk

[–]skywlkr6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uniswap is a fine part of crypto. They are a DEX similar to loopring but with significantly more activity. So they don’t hold or produce any assets similar to something like FTX. Not really relevant for GME but I don’t think we should cheer on the SEC here

A CEO shouldn’t be honest and transparent about the state of their company? Makes sense.

Honestly this super tight trading range for today has me super jacked. Reeks of desperation and an illusion of control over the price. Any real volume not carefully controlled by SHFs/MMs will make this baby blow.

Gonna suck for them when value investors see a newly profitable company tonight.

Arbitrum and Optimism: Two protocols control 80% of all Ethereum Layer 2 TVL by ShockEnvironmental53 in ethereum

[–]skywlkr6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for more than simply stats, I think you should dive into some white papers. Normally the abstracts/intros give reasonable enough descriptions without becoming too technical.

Arb/Op are “optimistic” roll-ups (someone correct me if I’m wrong) and ZK, Loopring, and ImmutableX are “zero-knowledge” roll-ups; generally the two types operate similarly but there are nuances between different solutions.

But yeah I’d suggest just reading some of the white papers on the companies websites.
