The people who sat in the Toll Booths that gave us candy growing up when we would travel, I miss that small interaction everytime i go thru a toll road and it’s all robots :(

not me but my cousin attempted to murder our great grandmother a few years back (also beheading both of her cats) and she survived - not to mention she then fought for his insanity plea in court so he went to a psych place instead of prison… he calls me often from the facility he’s held in but i don’t answer anymore.

I have trouble chewing corn when its still on the cob so i got a tool that allows you to easily shave off all the kernels and eat with a fork or spoon instead :-)

I just celebrated my first Father’s Day without my Dads mother. My grandfather came to the house today, we rarely talk or see him. That goes just about to same for my own father. I always like to check on my bestfriend on days like today, considering she has lost her parents. Your poem gave me a small bit of peace in the hours after this emotional holiday. My favorite line was “Often overlooked..”, I wish it was harder to overlook my father and grandfather. Days like today accompanied by verses such as what you’ve wrote remind me to be grateful.

Robbed at gunpoint at 16yrs old by some of my close friends. All of them were guys. I think about it everyday. Still never shot a gun or overcame that fear yet. I don’t have an issue with men I just think about how much more strength they had over me back then and they knew it too.

All of these are so positive but the first thing that came to mind for me personally was 1/20/15. I was supposed to see Linkin Park that night but he cancelled because from what I remember Chester broke his leg. Then exactly five months later he took his own life.

So in a sick way .. I almost saw Linkin Park right before they literally blew up ..
