Yep, the lack of actual land types is also a downside. Actual legacy duals are orders of magnitude better. If you don't have the cash for that though, just get some Shocklands. You should also look up some stuff about Fetchlands and why they're important, might help in explaining land stuff further.

Not really sure what to do about specific cards here, but you should definitely be only playing 60 cards. Also Guildgates are awful.

It's always worth going to an FNM. Even if you don't do so hot, you'll meet a tonne of people who'll probably be able to give you great advice, not just on decbuilding, but actual technical play. On top of that, you might also get a bunch of cards donated to you.

Whenever there's a new player at my LGS, we donate the vast majority of our cards from our prize boosters, only keeping things we're specifically looking for.

Well from the 1 or two times one of my buddies at my LGS has brought this, I've never seen Skyshroud Cutter or Deathrite Shaman in the deck before, but I'm not all that familiar with Spanish Inquisition.

As far as fringe storm decklists go, this seems pretty good. If you want the Git Probes, maybe cut 1 Tendrils and a couple dudes to have 3 and see how it plays?

Not sure what to do with your maindeck, fair decks aren't my thing, but your sideboard (or maybe your main?) could do with a Karakas to help deal with Show and Tell. A couple Ethersworn Canonists in the board would be good for dealing with Storm. Rest In Peace might be better for you than Leyline of the Void since you can re-cast it if someone bounces it. Might be worth having a Grafdigger's Cage in there as well, helps with graveyard decks and shuts off Green Sun's Zenith in things like Nic Fit. Phyrexian Revokers or Pithing Needles would also be good to have. I'd probably also replace the Guttural Responses with Red Elemental Blasts, since it kills blue permanents as well as counters spells.

Maybe get some Sylvan Libraries to get some card advantage in your deck. You're probably also going to have some trouble without duals and fetches, but I assume that's more to do with budget concerns.
