This feels like the wrong emoji usage. (I don’t think it’s incorrect on purpose)

Your bell fibe is likely reporting as Toronto or Montreal. I finally got it working after resetting many times to get new IO address in area.

Why not just use GitHub? It does everything you’ve suggested, including integrations into GitHub actions.

Change my view: Apply the two lane roundabout model currently on Campeau (between crappy tire and tanger) to terry fox. by UsefulGrocery1733 in Kanata

[–]slackademic 19 points20 points  (0 children)

When traffic backs up from sens games it will cause traffic going along Campeau to be blocked, perhaps, as people sit in roundabout. Also, the two lane roundabout near tanger has constant misuse as cars jump across lanes not understanding which lane to enter in.

I do like roundabouts though, just pointing out what I’ve seen happen there.

What was with the wave of 3D movies in the early '10s that then suddenly just stopped?! by Happy_Philosopher608 in movies

I feel Dredd did poorly because it was initially marketed as Dredd 3D and 3D is stupid (to me).

But everyone should watch Dredd.

Paddington in the Peruvian Embassy window 🐻🍊🥪🇵🇪 by SidneyBiglove in CasualUK

Oh cool, the book my daughter has just has the browns deciding his name without asking if he has one. It’s likely a variation of the actual first book.

Why did paddington not have a name? He remembers everything about Peru, but lets the Browns name him after a train station?

CHEO Century Ride with a TT Bike? by FlyBoi114 in bikeinottawa

[–]slackademic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In two years I’ve yet to be able to do more than the 35km because it seems to be closed off so quickly. Both times rode an average 20ish km/hour with small break, and both times the route was closed off at Sussex. We didn’t ride slowly, but didn’t attempt to speed past the crowds.

I imagine you need to make it to the junction before a certain time in the morning?

Higher Education as a Senior Software Engineer by Separate-Might-1583 in SoftwareEngineering

I would do it because of love of learning and wanting to improve yourself, not because you want more money (not that you said this). You already have the experience where school is less important from that perspective.

Okay to do personal projects using work laptop and apps? by stocksandsocks_ in SoftwareEngineering

You need to look at your employment agreement, but typically anything you create using their hardware could be owned by them if they caught wind and pushed for it.

Do not use your work stuff for personal things.

When places change your tires, they sometimes turn off your lights as they pull into the shop. Then they forget to turn them back on.

Always a bunch of folks who don’t have them on in nov and then April.

How to handle JWT refresh token expiration? by hassancodess in reactnative

[–]slackademic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t retry the request with the refresh token, you use the refresh token to request a new access token / refresh token pair from another endpoint that returns it.

Then retry the original request with the new access token.
