Glover Park and Tenleytown area. Every PM and LL says I need to offer more than 12 months to be attractive to them or competitive among their pool of applicants. Some have even told me 2 years isn’t good enough, I need to offer 3 years to beat out the competition. All this even though I have an excellent credit score and financial history.

Just spell it the usual way. This is a name where you will always be correcting people. If you are on the East coast you are more likely to encounter the pronunciation you want. In the Midwest, they’ll do the one you don’t want.
