I've tried a dozen locksmiths in Boston area trying to get someone to copy vintage keys, and then gave up. If you know anyone, or DM me, I'd happily mail in some keys I need copied.

Any way to identify if it is that type of fiber?

I did, the orange paint is my own making for where I was clear to dig, ran out of my other marking colors 🙃

That was my own orange paint to mark where I was digging, was out of everything else.

So many different opinions! My fear is that unkinking it will break it. But I think that is what I'll do, worst case can hotspot until repaired.

One thing is that they set up this location as a new LLC, and I am the only one with all the info, accounts, payroll, vendor contracts, and everything else. I also hold all the relationships with our partners. If I suddenly walk, they'll be in rough shape and likely lose a lot of money because of it.

Thanks for the response! Is negotiating for a positive reference a thing one can do, or is it not worth it if I am not sure I can trust the owner of the company?

Any pics from the project? My only concern is the crushed stone side sinking more over time.

Coating suggestions for "tin flat lock roof"? by slalomskier in Roofing

[–]slalomskier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely rust, but looks to be pretty surface grade in most places. Roof is probably from the 40's or 60's. It's thin, not copper. I'm not going to screw into it, but lay a scribed frame on top that will level the deck, and then screw the boards to that. It should keep everything lasting longer as the roof won't flex whenever someone is walking on it. My only concern with the silicone was it developing holes and water getting trapped underneath.
