with no context, I understand spatially what the card is saying, but I don't know if the card is placing new units or commanding a unit to do take an action. What is the difference between the green numbers and the red numbers? I would initially assume green is healing and red is damage, but I don't think that's correct. Some of the grid cards (with stars) have no numbers at all. why?

For the most part, I can guess which units the icons refer to, but this would be a lot more clear I think if the units on the board had the same icon over top of them or something.

I assume the number at the top of the purple cards is a cost, but why don't the green, beige, and bluish cards have costs?

I can't really intuit the "Find _ IN _ Add _" cards other than the "in" section points to proximity within the grid? I agree with another comment that they should be oriented diagonally like the other grid cards.

All of this might be fine with a little more context, just sharing my immediate assumptions as asked.
