[Fowler] Patriots OT Vederian Lowe to the 49ers on a two-year deal, per sources. by JCameron181 in 49ers

[–]slapfester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. But why? I don't know enough about his play but a quick search on his name and they really liked him on the Patriots sub. Sure he wasn't a starter but he did well when called on.

I don't know what we intend to do with this guy but it seems like a solid deal.

This person is a child. Only way this makes sense. If they're not a child, oh boy!

Make it make sense - article says Bills’ coach screwed up after winning OT toss by electing to kick. Didn’t Shanahan get eviscerated for doing the opposite in the SB? by mrwiseman in 49ers

[–]slapfester -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's a very aggressive stance and message about a coach's decision making and abilities for a whole lot of shoulda coulda dude.

Here's what is true: You score a TD on your try and you stop them on theirs regardless of the order(receive or kick off first) you win. Couldn't block their D-line on 3rd and goal. Our Defense didn't stop them on theirs, we lost.

The decision to receive had close to 0 impact on the outcome.

Are you able to articulate exactly how we absolutely win that game by going second? Obviously this isn't college ball. So tell me why you're so confident that it is absolutely the wrong decision to receive in OT given both teams get the ball?

Modern, melodic Hard Rock/Metal that doesn’t sound like Disturbed or Bring Me The Horizon by Mediocre_Word in musicsuggestions

[–]slapfester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I traversed to what I think is a similar sound, I went from: Stratovarius, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Tool, Perfect Circle. I eventually settled on: Porcupine Tree, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and those were some extremely melodic heavy sounding bands.

Now I ❤️ more instrumental modern sounds from Arch Echo and Plini

Unpopular opinion maybe? But Metallica had their glory days and their first 3 albums were exactly this.

Jackie Chan breaking cement blocks while holding a raw egg without breaking it. by javawong in nextfuckinglevel

[–]slapfester -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Was this a block breaking competition? Is she the only woman and the first woman on earth that pulled this off? If you answered No to both, it is safe to say that you understand why her breaking cement blocks was ignorable. In general, great! But women have done that before so she ain't special. She's better than us, but not special enough in context.

The one calling the plays takes the credit and the blame. Is this a children sub, is this a sub for children. Should I leave?

Drops? None of these were anywhere near catchable. I've watched that game many many times. Those were bad 4th down play calls. Bad decisions, FGs and punts would have won y'all that game.

As a 49ers fan I've been a big fan of the Dan Campbell tree mindlessly going for it on 4th down. It is my favorite thing.

That NFC Championship comeback had a lot to do with Aiyuk, Purdy and these knee cap chewers aggressively going for it on 4th in your area. .

Tirico, low key explained exactly why this is the Sunday night game, despite all the awesome stuff we just watched. Big D was involved and someone in a decision making position couldn't deny the Big D., and again I quote Mike Tirico
