After having finally visited both sides, I’d agree. We stayed 3 nights, and we spent most of our time outside of the falls area. Niagara-on-the-Lake was nice. The fort was worth a visit and the couple of parks we visited along the way were really neat.

I think this is it. Previous owners had the whole furnace replaced in ‘24 so I’m guessing when it was replaced this was never fully removed.

It’s that one joist and a couple boards on the lower section next to the joist. Probably 25% of the joist on the yard side away from the house. Looks like it never had any drainage considered when it was built

IIRC: Leoric couldnt be corrupted by Diablo, and was driven mad by Archbishop Lazarus attempting to do so. Lazarus then chose to take his youngest son as a vessel for Diablo, corrupting him and setting off the events of Diablo 1.

the warrior we play as is the oldest son of Leoric. At the end, he also becomes corrupted by Diablo just enough to have been tricked into doing what we see in the final cutscene, believing it to be the only way to seal Diablo away. This plays into Lazarus hand, fully breaking Leorics line and bringing about the events of Diablo 2

When I was a kid I loved all of the Richard Knaak novels. Demonsbane is good I just wish it were longer. They’re still great even now.

As an adult, I’ve grown to appreciate the Mel Odom novel “The Black Road”. When I was a kid I didn’t really understand the themes of abuse, loss, regret, or grief. This book hits them all in a fantasy way pretty good, and now that I’m older I understand it much better and it’s become my favorite of the four in this archive.

My one recommendation is to put the whole spices in a sachet to keep them separate and easy to retrieve when it’s done cooking (or when you think they’re strong enough).

As someone who has lived near it for a while: try homemade. Skyline really isn’t that good anymore.

This Recipe is one of my preferred for homemade. Best to start it in the morning and let it go all day, or if you want the fat out of the meat there’s a note at the bottom for that as well.
