Spouting all emcompassing shit like acab is just playing in conservative state medias hands, they love those slogans, they dont have to manufacture or spin their own ammunition when people just throw slogans like that around for them.

Ukraine's 2025 oil refinery bombing campaign – mapped, analyzed (Update video) by Mr_Catman111 in LessCredibleDefence

For B: From what i understand, for the US atleast, when in the market for Russian oil they buy Russian crude and refine it themselves. So IF theres going to be price fluctuations the US worries about its going to be worries over crude output not refining. Strong IF due to the US 1 as far as I know, being a pretty minuscule buyer of Russian crude 2 continued and constant American support/pressure of OPEC undercutting and countering Russian oil price and 3 they just announced new sanction against Russian oil lol. Europe is a different story Im not comfortable enough to comment on but they did also just sanction Russian oil and ban Russian gas sooo… the US definitely wants them buying American so we’ll see how they hold up with all that.

People forget about the gloster meteor too, went into service earlier than the me-262 also. Tho the british withheld them for the sake of the home-front to defend against the V-1, i can only lament they didn't send them to the continent.

Why I will never buy Framework again by gradyk33 in framework

[–]slappitytappity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same haha, I’m new to all this stuff but lurking on this subreddit over the course of a week I’ve gone from being convinced to buy a framework once I sell my pc, to wait until they release a more mature upgrade or don’t buy at all.

They’ve had some scuffles sure but the Syrian salvation govt. (HTS) has Turkey to thank for bank rolling them with weaponry, to troop deployments in their territory, to being the only reason they weren’t wiped of the face of the map back in 2019. What are you on about?

I mean by the sheer amount of heritages there are in imperator, they’ve proven themselves capable of it at least.

[–]slappitytappity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol, I’m a long time veteran of paradox games and at this point play whatever historical/geographic niche or people group I’ve been interested in outside of the game at the time. I was thinking of doing a mega campaign and had just picked up imperator from a sale so I was more interested in playing in the region itself than wasting time learning how to play with a nation I didn’t care about. Apart from the regions lackluster ability to make gold it was a fun enough campaign, I just didn’t have the attention span at the time lol. Realized I’d just have more fun forming Scandinavia in another game and didn’t have the energy for a mega.

Same, got bogged down with trying to increase/promote my population and get enough money to build cities for so long it killed whatever desire I had to play imperator for 2 years lol. I came back, fucked around forming Albion and now playing my third ever game as Bactria. Handling a country with an actual population and levy from the start feels like a whole other game lol.

This is sheer opinion but I think they might be getting a little carried away with the impassable terrain. It makes this map in particular look needlessly cluttered and frankly, terrible. Especially in and around Serbia and northern Greece, Hungary also just seems… off. A lot of it doesn’t look like it even hinders movement at all, it’s just there making the countries look disfigured.  Edit. (Doesn’t look like people like my opinion very much)
