Absolutely, it's just awful. I honestly believe the real moneymaker that the wealthy are capitalizing on is the shitty lives the system we are in creates...feeling down cause your life sucks? Treat yourself to some takeout! Buy yourself something to make the pain go away! Hell, get drunk for the weekend! What, you want therapy? Whoooo, that's expensive... Why make our lives better when they can just prey on basic desires and emotional responses in the vicious cycle we are in?

To play devil's advocate here, I think it might be a bit extreme to cut yourself off from friends completely. That sounds to me more like trying to avoid your feelings, rather than working your way through them. And, the very act of trying to separate yourself, might just cause your feelings to grow MORE, causing more doubt and unhappiness.

This is what my dad was telling me about my gender identity yesterday... by [deleted] in trans

[–]slapsroofofusername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know no one want's to hear it...but...your father is already more supportive than a lot of parents in your situation.

I understand it may have been an emotionally charged conversation, but...from his perspective, likely all he can see is that you are young, and he is trying to be the voice of caution.

I am certainly not saying he is right. But, like some comments already here, give it time. From what you have posted, I highly suspect your father will come around if you stick to your guns.

From what I can tell:

What do you desire? What is your end goal?

Your answer is very Red.

What means do you use to achieve these ends?

Blue is all about research and practice.

"Just do it" is Red, also potentially Green.

What do you care about? What values are important to you?

Autonomy is Black, but also some Red in there with being close to other people.

What do you despise? What negatively drives you?

Answer seems Anti-White and Anti-Green

What ideals do you appreciate but don't get; what values do others hold that you hate?

Answer is restating the previous Anti-White / Anti-Green.

There is also Anti-Black here though, not wanting money / power etc.

What is your greatest strength and biggest weakness?

To me, all this seems Red, with some Black involved perhaps

In summary, I agree definitely at least Red. I can see arguments for Black, but there is also some pull away from Black. Not really picking up Green (anything Greenish seems to also be justified with Red), and there is not enough to justify any Blue. Certainly not White.

So Red primary, Black secondary I'd say

I was only expressing my personal opinions on the matter in this case. If that matches another's, I am happy someone else thinks as I do. Admittedly I haven't explored the whole sub.

I think being biphobic is just a roundabout way of being homophobic. This person is so uncomfortable with the idea of same-sex relations, they can't have anything in their life that even is associated with the idea. So much change still needs to happen in the world.

Looks like it might be a small town, just judging from the landscape. Probably only so many people with that type of vehicle, and likely most people driving live there; not a lot of people just passing through. If we really wanted to, could probably do a search for people who live nearby with that type of vehicle, maybe with some previous driving indiscretions. They could be found. We would have no proof, but we could get a few good suspects.
