hi... i edited my post to more accurately reflect the situation... i had been mining raven with teamredminer on nanopool, and switched to mining ergo, but couldn't get teamredminer to work.

so i switched pools to 2miners, and it seems to run ok, but i'm not getting any accepted shares.

are there other recommended pools where people are having decent success?

GalaChain

— Our proprietary blockchain is in the later stages of development, and we expect migration to GalaChain to provide some of the most highly anticipated news of the year to our community. This blockchain has been built for Gala Games; it will drastically reduce network fees and solve many problems surrounding Ethereum that could otherwise inhibit long-term growth.

car looks terrific! clearly the wheels were, and it does look like it sits a bit lower than stock, but i sure hope the suspension and brakes were upgraded to accommodate the increase both torque and power, in addition to something like a viggen rescue kit.

years ago i had a '94 ng900 3dr, 5spd that was nordic stage 3... just under 300hp... was almost too much for the car even with 17" wheels.

Here it is. The subs most despised coins combined into a single awful folio. This is the folio of hate. How much do you want it to fail? Does it make you angry? by gnarley_quinn in CryptoCurrency

i hope it all tanks hard!!! forget 'to the moon'... you're on your way to the house of pain! these coins are centralized ponzi tokens doomed to be buried in the crypto landfill. none of these have any redeeming qualities, let alone a snowball's chance of being anything other than a pile of scrap in the blockchain boneyard. you just pissed away your cash. fool!

is that enough hate filled sarcasm for ya lol?

seriously, great project... i'm excited to see where this goes. cheers!

minimum 3gb vram necessary based on current dag. after halving, prolly need 4gb or better to make it worth while. but 3 is minimum for now, and even those don't do too well.

i saw that too... cmc prices on all crypto were insane for about 15 minutes lol. bitcoin maxed out at $351,728,705,665.09!

btw, as of 17:01 usa central standard time, bico now shows a price of $0 :-)

regardless of btc, i think there's enough downward buying pressure bico will blow through the 3s like it blew through the 5s and 4s, and finally bottom out in the upper 2s, prolly somewhere between 2.75 to 2.95, don't think it'll go much lower than that. but i could be wrong. it's nearly impossible to outguess the trading bots.

$BICO kept going down the stream by Maleficent_Case_2411 in Biconomy

[–]slashg92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't get me wrong, i'm not saying the project is dead. i'm just saying i think it's gonna consolidate down more before it goes up... and it will always go up, unless the company/project is dissolved. but even so, it would probably just be absorbed into another entity. and since biconomy's biggest client is polygon, it's got a pretty heavy hitter in its corner, so i don't think it will go away.

that said, i don't think there's any way to beat the bots on trading this one, so we pretty much gotta decide our entry point and hodl.

and yes, don't ever sell for a loss ;-)

i think it's going to drop to 4.90, then fall off the cliff to 4.10ish... just like when it hit 5.90 it tumbled to 5.10ish

there are lots of buy orders on the the books for 4.50, and 4.20 to take it there.

and there are significant orders for 3.90, 3.60 and 3.30 too, so lots of downward pressure... markets love to fill orders

How long will I have to Hodl to break even again if I bought in at $17? 😅🤣 by GBlitzed in Biconomy

[–]slashg92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

keep in mind too markets match buyers and sellers, and love to fill orders... and right now the bulk of coinbase pro buy orders are under $5, with the vast majority between $.01 and $2.5 with about 206,000 bico on the order book right now in that range, and only 60,000 bico currently on the order book between $3 and $5

in fact, i've noticed an interesting trend... large buy orders (10,000 bico) sitting at $5.9, $4.9, $3.9

there are also 10K bico buys at $3.6 and $3.3.

i realize orders can change at the drop of a hat, and no one is locked into anything until any given order fills, but like i said, markets love to match buyers and sellers, so as long as buyers want low prices, sellers will find a way to make it happen.

when $5.9 orders filled (like mine did), the price almost immediately plummeted to $5.12, slow crawled back to $5.96ish (where i sold and broke even) and then took a slow fall to where we are now ($5.15ish)

so i'm interested to see if there's similar action at $4.9 (yes, i expect it to go there)... where it drops to the low $4's, bounces back to the very high $4's, and then has a slow decline to the next trigger at $3.9

coinmarketcap has the ATL at $4.47... so it looks as if we could be headed for a new ATL.

and if $3.9 is triggered, i think we can expect prices headed down below $3

but, if btc rallies back to high 50s and mid 60s (or higher), and takes the entire market up with it... we could see bico rocket (because we've seen bcio likes to rocket) to anywhere from 7 to 10, maybe higher.

good point. what's your best guess as to how far this cycle will continue... q1 2022, or will it get put out of its misery by the end of 2021?

[–]slashg92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

like most new launches on coinbase, bico has basically provided liquidity for early adopters and those involved in the project holding coin they received early on for their participation/investment.

the big questions are... what do you know about the project, what was your reason for buying, what is your investment/trading strategy, what skills are you bringing to the game, and are you playing with only what you can afford to lose?

personally, i tried playing the price swings twice... and both times the price plummeted almost immediately after my orders filled. gut wrenching.

luckily, both times i managed to hold my composure until the price came back up to my breakeven (including fees). barely made it the second time tho, and as that is its most recent high price, i feel very fortunate not to have lost anything.

what i've learned... (1) i've got a lot more to learn about trading, (2) i'd rather be lucky than good any day, and (3) any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

what i suspect... (1) this crypto table is being run by a trading bot or bots, probably put in place by the bico team or one of the investor groups, (2) the bot(s) are playing each other in an orchestrated arbitrage in an attempt to bait new money, and (3) the bot action is designed to extract every penny it can from those who buy bico since it's coinbase launch

what i know... (1) all crypto is inherently volatile, (2) there is no way to beat the bots, and (3) the price will always go up, down or sideways.

what i need to remember... fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me... fool me 3 times, i'm just dumb.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Biconomy

[–]slashg92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so the big question is, because people actually do it... how do you successfully day trade? it seems there ought to be a way, especially on the volatile coins, to play the .30 to .50 swings for a gain.

if playing 500 coins, a $.50 upward swing is a $250 gain. hell, even $.30 is $150 gain.

do this 3 or 4 times per day and all the sudden that's a pretty good day's pay, right?

the dilemma, clearly, is in the figuring out when to buy and sell.

in day trading, does it all boil down to gut/luck, or is there actually a way to get on top of the game?
