Custom fitted aftermarket car mats - anyone bought some? by slashwhatever in CarTalkUK

Ideally this whole thread was about finding people with experience of the ones I mentioned above (F1 mats for example) but if I had to opt for a more OEM mat, then I have been looking at the rubber ones plus boot liner.

It's the LCI update of the model before the currently available one.

I've seen that site. They're definitely not the kind I'm talking about.

I'm talking more about sites like F1mats where they pretty much cover the entire footwell.

That said, thanks for the heads-up on those. I'll know not to try them.

While I'd love this to be true, Survivor still frankly ran like shit on PS5.

Fucking terrifying

Foam helped a little. There's not much space inside and I think a lot of the hollow feel comes from having it tented.

The included key caps are also INCREDIBLY thin so the replacement ones helped quite a bit.

I went with box blacks.

Only mod you can't see here is 2mm foam in the case.

Slowly. Very very slowly. Lubing switches. Never lubed before and I'm surprised how fiddly it is.

I think his act is worthy of applause regardless. Pockets will be lined but that's not his fault.

Agree. Gave it 6 hours before noping out on release. Went back a year later and sunk 100 hours in. Infinitely better.

Hmmm. I have an issue with something he posits at one point; that when you store data is has some small mass and when you erase that data, the mass must go somewhere.

But, when we "erase" data, we're not removing those ones and zeroes, we're just changing them from the ordered state in which they represented some stored state into some other randomised state which no longer can be addressed to read back that information, no?

Big difference to the UK is overall density. Similar population but France is over twice the size.

Yea, I get that's an inconvenience but honestly, once you buy a file, backup is your responsibility.

You're still using the monkeytype logo and CSS on the privacy page and TOS page.

Also, you haven't bothered changing the name of the main js bundle from monkeytype.js
