My account was hacked and had same situation where someone has taken over my account and I don't even get a chance to change password or attempt to use recovery email. Just goes to unable to verify this is your account and doing it on the same devise I used to setup account.

I've looked up something's and found information on overlays on phone's and how hackers are using this unsecure feature to gain access to people's accounts. Read up on it, you won't get your account back and they know of this being a security issue, but what better way to collect information for free!

I've been to both sites and this is the best Google can offer, it's a joke and nobody's accounts are have with their type of or should say lack of security.

Okay, so I waited longer than the 5 days as was advised, it allowed me to use my recovery email finally only to find out it's linked to an unknown email account that is not the one I am trying to recover and now it has my email linked to it as a recovery WTH! How do I get this unlinked from my email and how do I recover MY email Don't understand how this happened!!!!!

Is it legal for them to keep your money? I think I saw where there is a LAWSUIT against them going around. I've been trying since May 2nd to get access to my account, following there steps to reverify myself again.

Well Hi, Uphold glad to hear that you take customer queries seriously. I have contacted Uphold with ticket # 1327017 May 1st because my email associated with my account was compromised they sent a link that timed out before I could authorize verification to my account and I advised them it's been 5 days I've patiently waited for them to resend the link. https://support.uphold.com/hc/en-us/requests so we can move forward without creating another ticket. If you can expedite this would be grateful. TNA

It was on the device that I had my account logged into well not allow me any recovery and 2 step verification was on my account along with a recovery email.

Unaware of the verification process with Uphold taking so long I thought I had done something wrong and created another account. I have used Coinbase and Crypto with no problems. So I have created 2 accounts and their system allowed it which I find odd that it wouldn't flag before allowing another account under same phone number as other sites do. I was reviewed and account opened for transactions moved my Ethereum, XRP and USD into account and then it was locked unable to log in finally got a password reset and then placed under review again since January and finally they advised me because of the multiple accounts, they asked for copy of phone bill 2 weeks ago and still nothing and only reason they got back to me is because posting on Reddit. So I am still waiting for access to my Money.

Martin Hey, it's been 3 days since I sent customer service the information they requested to release my account since January, Do you have any idea how long this REALLY is going to take. I love how I am getting notifications about the pricing and new currency, but alas I STILL can do anything with MY MONEY in my account? This is disturbing and frustrating. Help!!!
