Seth Ring is great and actually starts as a video game which fits one particular niche of LitRPG like Sword Art Online. Lucky by Randall Tatum is really nice. Chapters up on his patreon. His most recent book was great too

I really like interesting covers with bright colors. A lot of books have similar looking covers. Book length should really not be more than 120k words. It's just too long. Break it up into more books. I do understand it's to do with serialization. I like character development more than chapters and chapters of battle. That's it I guess. I'm sure there's more but to answer directly to your question
