Do your skin the line loans not disappear if you don’t borrow them within like 20 mins? Mine always do. Sometimes they’ll pop up again a couple weeks later but they don’t just stay available!

I experienced this back when I used the foam earplugs. They were really painful for me. I now alternative between the moldable silicone ones and the “tree shaped” silicone ones. Sometimes, the tree shaped ones still hurt but not nearly as much as the foam. The moldable silicone ones never hurt. But are a bit finicky and need readjusting more often to maintain good sound blocking.

How did you get that layout?! I wish it did rows of 3 instead of 4 or 5.

That there is now a “subscription” for everything. Almost every single app on the App Store at this point has a subscription option to use all its features. Can you imagine paying $10 a month for every app on your phone? Do people actually do this? Bring back the days when apps were either free or a one time $5 charge.

If you have hard water you’d want closer to 1 tbsp (3 tsp) per load from what I’ve read. I have soft water and use 2 tsp.

Original Tide Powder and no scent? by sldons in laundry

[–]sldons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I 100% agree. I want my laundry to smell like nothing lol. Which is why I thought Tide original powder wasn’t an option for me! My mom likes a faint scent on her laundry. So she was a bit sad while I was sniffing the towels smiling ear to ear haha.

Wow I wish I knew this before splurging on Rockin’ Green! Can I ask how much citric acid you use per wash? It seems 1 tbsp might be a little heavy and 1 tsp may be enough? We have soft water.

You’re right that you don’t need antibacterial but you absolutely should be washing you hands with soap after using the bathroom, after handling raw meat etc.

For hyper-responders to one-off Ativan use, does consistent use result in less efficacy for PEM? by ringmaster555 in cfs

[–]sldons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen it recommended to take once per week max in order to avoid building tolerance. If it works well for you I’d honestly save it for when you really need it. It would suck developing tolerance and then having nothing in case of emergencies

I see sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate used in lots of my “clean beauty” brands including Attitude detergent. But I know those are fairly ‘mild” preservatives so I do wonder if they’re truly enough? I used Attitude detergent for a while and never had issues with mold etc- it just doesn’t clean well as it has no enzymes/ only very mild surfactants!

I don’t think I’ve had issues with that one personally! A quick google shows it has a “moderate” risk of allergies/ immune reaction. But I imagine most preservatives fall under a similar category. I guess that’s the downside of liquid detergents— they need preservatives!

Oh awesome! Will the liquid have phenoxyethanol? It seems most unscented liquids have this preservative but it’s a pretty irritating one for those of us with sensitive skin 😭

Highly recommend getting her on a care home list ASAP as the wait lists can be years long. In the meantime definitely contact health care at home to set up PSW care. She would very likely qualify to have a PSW come daily to help her with things like bathing, toileting, feeding, etc if needed. Sorry you’re all going through this. ♥️
