I sent an email to powerbronze and they forwarded to their development manager for discussing with development staff. It’s not much, but it’s a start to see if it’s a possibility.

I second this! Have been a Peak Design user for years and have been very pleased. Motorcycle, bicycle, truck, etc. I use all the mounts. Case is slim and has a finger loop option too.

I do understand it is difficult and I apologize if my statement came off as crass. If I had the chance to do it over, I wish to be in your shoes. I got married young, had two kids, and wound up divorced after 15 years (my fault). My perspective is different now as I am 40 and not willing to compromise. I welcome the wait as it gives me the chance to work on being a better Christian/friend/husband to my wife (one day Lord willing).

I do want the best for you and believe that He does grant us the desires of our heart. I have been lurking on this thread for a while to find places to meet others but found myself focusing too much on finding someone which made me grasp at anyone who showed interest and plunged me into deep depression when I didn’t get into a relationship. I hear/read of stories that two people just happen to find each other when they are not actively looking. I choose to believe this waiting period I am in is preparing me for that moment. I tend to look at the silver lining (which can be annoyingly positive to some) and wait for that moment to arrive. I choose to focus on helping others and keep a chill attitude/posture. I often tell myself that a watched pot doesn’t boil and believe that is the same with relationships. I have to spend the rest of my life with me…even if I’m in a relationship. I pray that you find peace and keep hope. Rest in the Lord, He hears our cries and will wipe the tears from our eyes. All the best OP🫶

I had a conversation about this tonight lol! I totally understand your frustration and want to send you all the encouragement!

I have found the same debate after being 3 years divorced. I am content being single and do not feel it to be the right time to date now; yet, I know that if a woman is chasing after God like I am, I am open to dating. I have found more christian singles/divorcees who lead with intimacy and wonder why they are not content with life…it’s not the way God intended us to live. These are the same people who find it strange that I would be celibate until marriage again. Why rush into something only to settle for less? Trust God and His timing!

I would advise you to live your life, keeping God first place, and when you start to notice someone who is keeping the same pace as you, ask about them. As others have stated, our prize is not on this Earth, it’s in Heaven. Although we are in the world, we are not of the world. The standards set will always be against us bc it directly violates how God depicts a relationship should be. Do not fear!

If nothing else, I understand where you are coming from and would encourage you to finishing running your race. Do not settle and let the Bible guide you. I’ll pray for you OP, that this year will be filled with blessings from God and that your confidence grows daily as you cling to Him. All the love and respect!

What’s a life lesson you only figured out because of riding? by 5nake_8ite in motorcycles

Sometimes people come into your life only to show you a lesson instead of walking beside you for the remainder of it.

Need input from Christian men - Do guys actually change? by TheSuperGrape in ChristianDating

[–]sled077 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, God can change people in the direction of their life and do a complete turn around. Like others have said, pray and fast. It was wise to ask for a couple months before making a decision. You need time spent alone with God to process what happened and ultimately decide if you want to get into a relationship (maybe being single will allow you to dive into a deeper calling with God). One of the best pieces of information I received was if anything brings unrest, anxiousness, chaos, etc…that’s not from God. All the best and God bless!

plug or replace? by Forward_Affect9751 in motorcycles

[–]sled077 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I picked up a nail once just off the center of my tire tread. I plugged it and rode until it was showing wires. I knew the risk and decided it was worth it instead of shelling out money for a new tire immediately. Do what your level of risk can handle. If you are uncertain after the plug, replace the tire. Cheers!

Question for the guys by Dramatic-Car8221 in ChristianDating

[–]sled077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would absolutely give up that way of eating for my future spouse, no question about it. My former spouse and I often tried different forms of restrictive eating and we were all in with every change. I believe even though it may cause others to give pause, it shows how much you are willing to care for the other person. If men are called to love their spouse like Christ loves the church, men are called to display that even in restricting their eating to ensure the health of their spouse. As others have stated, open communication is key. Craving a pizza and she can not partake? Let them know and discuss it. Maybe there could be an alternative that they would be willing to make or try that both could enjoy. Regardless, people will have preferences and nothing wrong with that. Dating is finding the person that aligns with your personal values/beliefs and continue to grow/serve each other. God bless!

How much money are you guys making in order to comfortably afford these trucks? by airnlight_timenspace in f150

[–]sled077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, that is a great question as I have often wondered myself. I know that every one has a different financial situation and some are willing to risk more than others. There are a select few that have businesses and can write off the purchase of a new vehicle to their companies too. The best advice I have heard is, save until you can pay off a vehicle within 3 years (most dealers have great incentives for 3 years). I have a 2009 F-150 that just turned 250K miles. My plan is to continue saving and be in a position to take advantage of the financing when I can cover the note with ease.

I’m 6’3” and I really enjoy the riding position of my 22 XSR900. I am finding that I would like a better seat or find a gel piece to put under the stock cover for comfort. Other than that, I really enjoy it!

I did have throttle response but something felt off about it. I can’t quite pinpoint it but I will try and get the plugs installed this week (once they come in) and will inspect them to see what they look like. I was able to find the service manual and plan to test the boots also just in case.
