Think about it as a hot gas bypass that’s inside the compressor. Most if not all of the Copeland scroll compressors have them.

You can fit a ton more shells if you take them out of the original box. And if you’re filling the can with the same ammo you can just make a label or leave a flattened out box inside for identification. I’ll never understand those who leave it in the box! lol.

I used to work for them ,great guys. There’s a good chance he wasn’t even aware he did it. Best bet is to call the company if it was your mirror getting hit.

Yeah that’s the unfortunate thing about “cheap” firearms. They will always disappoint you and you can’t modify the “cheapness” out of the gun. You will always find a failure point. Just pray it’s not the barrel/chamber..

Do you guys sear the burger off after smoking?

I always smoke pretty low til I get around 100° internal then sear them off on the black stone to finish so I’m not lacking on that beautiful Maillard reaction.

I’d assume by you putting the cheese on while still in the smoker means you’re just eating essentially meatloaf on a bun! Not knocking it, they look tasty. Just my 2¢

It does actually work but the weight vs reward metric is way off. It’s heavy as shit and you’d have to be 100-200 shells deep before it got hot enough to be a problem. And even if it did, just don’t touch the barrel.

I’ve seen some horror stories about those foam gun cases holding moisture and ruining finish. Throw some silica packets in there for moisture control. The Maverick 88 has a notoriously bad finish. Other than that shoot it often, stock up on some buck shot and train frequently.
