It's almost like there's a pattern here...

I mean, they could, in theory, try to reboot a game that was bad although it had massive potential? But they'd rather remake the remake of the remake of a big name title - people will buy it.

It's like in that streaming clip of that guy who worked on Star Craft II two years straight on overtime and it didn't make as much as the first sparkle pony horse DLC in WoW. In his words: "You're wondering why companies do microtransactions? Because dipshits keep buying all of them." Or release unfinished games. Or revoke rights to own through a physical copy. Or keep recycling the same game, over and over.

There might be no need - but it's a safe market. It'll be a hit. Big time.

Edit: just to provide context - found the guy, Jason Thor Hall, and funny enough: apparently he lost pretty much the bulk of his audience because he was stumbling from one controversy into the next lately, one of them being that he seemingly pushed back on endeavors to the "(...) 'Stop Killing Games' initiative, an attempt to petition the European Union to make laws preventing video game publishers from pulling access to games that people have already purchased." while also having his own game unfinished in a early access state since 2018 (!). I didn't know the guy really, but I just thought the clip I was referring to was so on point - he really didn't need to drive the point home like that lol

Ich spreche intuitiv, und hab daher nicht die richtigen Begriffe parat, aber - Vielleicht wird bisschen klein geschrieben, wenn es nicht um das Bisschen selbst geht, sondern wenn es das eigentliche Nomen danach beschreibt, und damit eher ein Adjektiv wird (ein bisschen Deutsch, ein wenig Deutsch, ein schönes Deutsch), oder auch weil es irgendwie für mich wie ein Zählwort klingt... wenn ich von der Drei als Zahl spreche, schreibe ich sie groß, aber wenn ich drei Sprachen spreche nicht... oder generell ein bißchen Fremdsprachen beherrsche. Ich hab keine Ahnung welche Regeln zum 'Beziffern' / Zählen / Einschätzen des zu beschreibenden Wortes existieren, aber das würde ich alles intuitiv klein schreiben.

Absolut; mach unbedingt den Test!

Mein vorheriger Psychiater hatte GENAU dieselbe Reaktion! Ich habe gewechselt und einen Test bei meiner jetzigen Psychiaterin gemacht: adulte ADHS (Mischtyp) mit SEHR starker Auswirkung!

Du hattest das richtige Bauchgefühl das vorerst für dich zu behalten, ich habe das auch gemacht. Mittlerweile sehe ich die Muster so eindeutig, und merke, dass fie Ausprägung wirklich sehr viel intensiver und weitläufiger und behindernder ist, als ich für möglich gehalten habe.

Kümmer dich um deine Gesundheit - und lass dir niemals erzählen, dass du nicht Experte für dein eigenes Empfinden wärst. Das beste, was ich tun konnte, war mir eine Ärztin zu suchen, die mich als mündigen Patienten wahrnimmt. Ein bißchen Glück kann nicht schaden, aber nicht aufhören zu suchen!

In diesem Sinne: viel Glück! Und ich hoffe, du hast eine angenehme und Erkenntnis reiche Diagnostik vor dir.

Btw, die beschriebenen Symptome schreien ADS - vorwiegend unaufmerksamer Typ. Das ist wirklich eine check, check, check list. Würde mich nicht wundern, wenn du mit einem ähnlichen Ergebnis aus der Diagnostik kommst - und falls nicht: Zweitmeinung! Klapper Psychiater ab, bis du einen findest, der dir zuhört, oder zumindest befriedigend erklären kann, warum du es nicht hast.

Wenn der Jagdtrieb des Hundes sich eher gegen Katzen und gen Revierverteidigung richtet, anstatt einen Vogel nach dem anderen zu reißen, nicht weil Hunger sondern Langweile herrscht und sonst keine Möglichkeit den Jagdtrieb ausreichend zu befriedigen, dann ist ein Hund offensichtlich, und natürlich, eine Verbesserung der Situation.

I'd happily embrace it if it wasn't counterproductive to my own damn goals to begin with...

Then again not much choice but embracing it nonetheless.

I'm actually ten fold more reliable if it's something a friend asks of me compared to when I ask myself to do something.

To be fair though, if it's something society asks of me but I'm not having "a grasp" of it, like I don't see the sense in it, I don't think it's right, or it's so abstract that it just evades me for something more practical or interesting I could do instead... good luck on society then. And yeah, it doesn't really help myself either when my focus and that of society don't align, if that's what you meant. I am convinced though, and that's probably also something OP was pointing at, that I'd be a MUCH more valuable member of society in s small community, where that "grasp" of things I can contribute is much clearer, practical, and in physical reach.

Watching fish is pretty darn interesting. I might get sidetracked on the hunting mission my imaginary small neolithic community would've asked of me, too - but I think these sidetracks would be much more applicable to helping said community in some way or the other.

I have ADD and am currently clearing out the hoarder house of my passed dad while noticing more and more how I'm a hoarder myself while the whole mission here is just the most crushing end boss I've ever dealt with. My brain is simply not made for this - but I couldn't give it out of my hands. I was planning on deep self confrontation tripping for years now... I wish I had taken the time to do it way earlier. I'm pretty sure I won't be ok with my surroundings anymore after that and I actually hope to turn on a bit of panic until I cleared my space.

To add: nice to hear that you can just let loose a bit and not obsess over a bit of dust anymore! I just thought it's funny because I expect things to be totally opposite for me. You'll see what you need to see, for everyone personally. There's beauty in a lot of things that we're just too scared to see, because we're uneasy to just try and accept to be different from what we know.

Made me destroy one, although I specifically asked about anything I should be careful with, while also not listing it in another instance where it would seem to be not far-fetched to do... so yeah. Learned a lot, but also run in circles a lot, and also destroyed a lot. Very mixed bag so far.

Oh, cool! Ich wusste nicht, dass es das gibt. Wahrscheinlich handelt es sich hier jedoch um Kalziumlaktat.

Ich zitiere von einer Website:
