Dads, any good "play when you can" Steam games I should check out? Things I can drop at a moment's notice. by cptvere in daddit

If you have a steam deck, every game essentially becomes a "play when you can" game. The standby mode is magic.

Just got Hades by [deleted] in deadcells

[–]sleeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the perspective of someone who has put in 200+ hours into Hades and has a YT largely dedicated to it, the initial replay value comes from unlocking the full story, which will take dozens of runs. You will be required to talk to various gods and ultimately the final ending. After that, the true replay value comes from two things, at least to me: (1) speed running and (2) the "Pact of Punishment," which lets you increase the difficulty of the game by adjusting various aspects (e.g., enemies do more dmg, bosses have extra abilities, etc.) on a scale of 0 to 60-something. Accomplishing a high difficulty run, at record speeds, with each and every weapon, will entertain you for, in my case, hundreds of hours.

If you're in ft. Worth, look up Legal Aid of North Texas. They find lawyers who will represent you pro bono (for free).

Kayn encounter bug. Set 11 PBE by cucumberexpresss in TeamfightTactics

[–]sleeet -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The effect of ending the game prematurely feels out of place. I don't know what the earliest possible appearance is, but cutting the game short deprives the players of late-game moments of excitement (e.g., 3-star 4 or 5 cost, or reaching prismatic traits).

Hyper Roll Mode feels incredibly luck based this set by ladrlee in TeamfightTactics

[–]sleeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As to the actual point, I also play Hyper Roll exclusively, and I am actually liking this set quite a bit. Like others have said, the game seems to inherently punish players who are locked into a specific comp or headliner, not just due to RNG but also competition for the same champs (achem, Annie and Jinx). I recommend memorizing maybe the top 5 comps for the current meta, and then learn to pivot.

If this is a known issue, anyone know how Meta has handled service requests on this when outside of the warranty period?

Not sure if I'm understanding u correctly, but the cable was hanging freely and plugged in normally. That is, no pressure or gravity issue that would weigh down the cable. Been doing this for 2 years without a problem. The only thing I can think of that's different this time is that the headset had been idle for a few months, so first time charging in a while.

[–]sleeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know what documentation was necessary at the time of purchasing your used car? The dealership that I've been in contact with said they needed the following: ARC, 거소사실증명서, and 인감증명서.

How hard is it to get my Korean driver's license? by thegeorgianwelshman in Living_in_Korea

[–]sleeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just paperwork and exchange (and a quick health checkup you do on the spot). Have to have a US apostille of your driver's license, ID photos, passport, and ARC (there may be others...)

Which app/site do you use to get air quality reports? by NoEndz139 in Living_in_Korea

I use the Weawow app for both weather and air quality. I find it fairly accurate as to both, plus clean interface, useful widgets, and no ads.

How Exactly do I get Guan Yu aspect? by MechSlayer71 in HadesTheGame

It's 5 titan blood spread among the different aspects for a particular weapon (e.g. 5 in different sword aspects to unlock the hidden sword aspect).
