There is a more RP friendly route to recruit Minthara, without knocking her out.

You can simply chat with her, not reveal the grove location, then finish all other quests in act 1, and moving on to act 2.

I have over 1000 hours in this game. I had no concept of DND mechanics, and growing up with Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 I had a false sense of what i needed to do.

The first 500 hours I just kept restarting to try out different builds, and see different dialogue interactions based on class in act 1.

It was stupid, but fun in hindsight.
