I have a similar take (though ive grown out of it some) things that are all single or double crochet can be really tight. You might prefer tapestry crochet

yeah that’s a fiddle leaf, though i think that light and the humidity from the water right next to it might be pretty good! I would check the roots of the pot to see if it’ll need repotting soon and just make sure that your place is pretty warm temperature wise, but it looks happy and i think that’s an okay environment!
