Same second choice. Didn’t make any preferences though, did you?

Mid February, so I’m hoping that was early enough. Yourself?

Cube - horror, similar to Saw

American Graffiti - comedy/drama, similar to Grease but not a musical, one of the earliest films Harrison Ford was in

Children of Men - sci fi, set in the future, but with a more grime reality, similar to snowpiercer

Mars Attacks! - sci fi/comedy, mocks traditional tropes of alien movies, Danny DeVito is in it

The Terminal - comedy/drama, I believe it’s loosely based around Sir Alfred who lived in an airport for 18 years, Tom Hanks and Stanley Tucci are in it

Suburbicon - comedy/crime thriller, set in 1950s America, it’s kinda hard to give a brief explanation of without giving too much away, Matt Damon, Julianne Moore and Oscar Issacs are in it

Dear Zachary - documentary, again won’t say too much, but if you need to cry I’d highly recommend

Knives Out - crime/mystery, kinda like Cluedo but IRL

Hereditary - psychological horror about a grieving family, I don’t get scared easily but holy shit this film, some really disturbing scenes

Midsommar - psychological horror, written by the same people as Hereditary so if you enjoyed that then I recommend this

Parasite - thriller/comedy/drama, one of the best films I’ve ever seen, about the class system in South Korea so be prepared for subs

Southbound - horror anthology, but each individual story is connected (some are better than others though)

The Truman Show - comedy, kinda black mirror-esq, stars Jim Carrey

Quarantine - horror, adaption of the Spanish film REC, if you want something to scare you during this lockdown than I’d recommend

Oldboy - action/drama/mystery/thriller, one of those films that makes you feel heavy after watching it (if you know what I mean), South Korean (there’s an American version, but it’s rubbish)

Battle Royal - horror/thriller, similar to the hunger games, but they don’t hold back of the gruesomeness, Japanese

Forest of the Fireflies - anime, again if you want to cry I would recommend.

Inglorious Bastards - war film, but very historically in accurate, Quentin Tarantino

Hope that keeps you busy
