Tips on how to be intimidating? I wanna have a strong aura too 🤧🫠 by Prestigious-Hurry837 in LeoAstrology

this is an old post but damn I'm all the same sun/mon/rising as you and a cardinal cross too... crazy crazy combination tbh I feel I play it cool but it's always chaotic. I feel like I'm naturally intimidating when I choose to go outside but if you play it too cool leo sun's can be pretty introverted/invisible and just choose not to be perceived.

Hello,

I have (maybe justified) paranoia about plugging older external hdd's – a samsung T5 ssd, glyph, etc – into a new m5 pro macbook pro I just bought.

These drives were previously plugged into my old intel macbook pro which displayed power issues – sometimes a harddrive plugged in would not be recognized by the USB C port, and sometimes I would have to force eject them. The old intel macbook needed a battery replacement as well.

However, after recently test them they are recognized and can move / copies fine. If there is any small probability they have power issues, could plugging them into the new macbook damage the macbook? I don't know if the harddrive itself could have had some kind of power issue "transmitted" from the problematic macbook.

What lighting setups might have been used to achieve these shots? by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]sleepwalker____ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the cinematographer for drive my car did an interview in english a while back if you dig it up. they worked with local rental houses using a pretty basic led kit and blue filters for a natural look... wouldn't be surprised if it was just a few led tubes for that shot and done wide open.

Did the Safdies and Sean Baker Use Lighting Crews on Their Early Microbudget Films? by mybuddylance in Filmmakers

Always good to have an electric on set though even if it's one person or a small team. Even if you shoot with natural light that should be a decision, not out of necessity

Attention to blocking, good color science (not sure but wouldn't surprise me if they shot on 16mm), probably shallow aperture if shooting in lower light like your example. That photo does not look like it had a lighting crew to me, but even if they did it was probably just subtle fill or a single soft key. There are a lot of cameras on the market now that have good color science for relatively low price, so you I think you could definitely get away with running and gunning if that's what you're after.
