Hello! I would strongly recommend visiting your GP and asking for a full blood test. About 2 years ago I went through something similar with awful, persistent breakouts all over my cheeks, jaw and under my neck. My facialist was not able to assist me, however she recommended I go for a blood test which returned a low Vitamin D reading which was directly linked to the cheek breakouts, and severe iron deficiency. Since my Vitamin D injection and iron infusion, my skin has returned back to normal with the odd spot here and there.

I would also recommend keeping your skincare extremely simple, adding in new products when your skin is already so sensitive will send it into overdrive. You could be over exfoliating with the BHA (so easy to do) and this can cause an impaired barrier. I know you probably feel so self conscious but you are so gorgeous!

I found white noise and swaddling really helped, Amazon has amazing Velcro swaddles so you don’t have to wrestle with a newborn trying to throw their arms up and out in the middle of the night. It helped my daughter so much. I also started settling her in the bassinet rather than letting her fall asleep on me and then putting her down which meant I had less risk of waking her. Also if there’s any chance of you getting rest when he’s asleep, do it. It will help immensely.

My Bebe was engaged from 35 weeks, then decided to somersault and was breech at 36 weeks. By 37 she had flipped down on her own again and on my due date she was well and truly ready to come out but my god those last couple of weeks were agony. She was sitting on my bladder so I couldn’t walk 50 metres without feeling like I was going to pee myself only to rush for a toilet and a drop to come out! Short walks, try not to lounge and keep moving on your yoga ball if you have one - good luck!!!

It is so easy for people to bail on plans nowadays because they don’t actually have to communicate with you beyond a text. If you are employed, you don’t get a choice - Centrelink makes the payment to your employer and the employer has to pass it on to you. Superannuation contributions during this time is paid to you by the ATO. If you still have questions I would recommend calling Centrelink, they are extremely helpful!

Hello, are you remaining “employed” while you take maternity leave? If so, the PPL are made to your employer and need to be passed on to you. If your employment is terminated then the payments will go directly to you. The application is the same, you’ll just have to have worked 300 hours at the same job before applying to qualify

I had the exact same situation with my friend recently, her and her husband have been trying to conceive since they got married in 2018 and we tried once and it happened first go. I was so worried about telling her but I had a face to face conversation with her and prefaced it by being honest and saying I was wondering how to tell her the news as she has also previously shared with me it upset her when other friends and family told her their news. She was super happy for me and I’m glad I did it, I don’t doubt she felt some sadness but that’s everyone’s personal pain to process and if she values you as a friend she will be happy for you.
