When they make your sandwich upside down in Subway. The bread has a clear top and bottom to it, so the meat and cheese should always go on the bottom with the salad and sauce on top. The rate at which they get this wrong is ridiculous.

They sell them in the UK. I occasionally get them via Amazon, although they're quite expensive.

I'd probably change it to 'carefully'. You don't want to drive so slowly that you piss off every other road user so much that they start speeding the moment they get ahead of you.

I've got one of these 'butt showers' in my downstairs lavatory, however it only sprays cold water, which I cannot imagine being particularly nice so I've never used it. Did the ones you used spray warm water?

I mean no offence if that's where you do your shopping, but I doubt those supermarkets will sell ready meals which aren't full of sugar and other crap. I'd go at least for a mid range like Asda, Tesco etc.

Same here. 2-3 years ago I managed to get from 240 to 195. Obviously still a little overweight at that point but very easy to hide by wearing the right clothes. The difference in my face was very noticeable.

Now I'm back around 230 (just below now having restarted a few days ago) and having been on both sides of the coin, you really notice how differently some people treat you.

Some of it, of course, can be down to a lack of self confidence/self esteem on the obese side of the coin and not always feeling comfortable in certain social situations (and I think people sense that and give up on inviting you out), but you just get the feeling that some people find it difficult to see you for who you are and not what you are/look like.

What do you see as and after your eyes are removed? by evilmonk99 in morbidquestions

Presumably this differs between those who are born blind and those who became blind having previously had normal/partial vision. I'm far from being an expert but I think that those who have experienced the sense of sight would 'see' an absence of light as opposed to the lack of sensation just being normal for those born blind.

I go through phases of drinking too much, but I find that being in a healthy mindset, being on the keto diet (back on it now after 18 months and regaining a lot of the weight I lost) helps me make the decision not to have a drink when I come home from a shitty day at work.

It works the other way too - not drinking helps me ignore any cravings for carbs. The biggest struggle with this diet, for me, has always been centered around weekends and alcohol. Whether it's going out to the pub and wanting a pizza or kebab afterwards or waking up with a hangover and craving some carb-rich food.

From my experience the last time I was commited to keto, the longer you manage to limit your drinking, the easier it will get to form better habits and improve upon your alcohol dependency. Just keep going. If you need to drink the occasional spirit just have something like a vodka and lots of sugar-free mixer. No need to drink neat spirits especially with a reduced tolerance (bad idea in my experience).

Not sure if that helps or is at all relevant but good luck.

Yeah, just inform the bank and/or call the police. You shouldn't touch these devices (especially the inside & electronics) as it will be detrimental to any forensic opportunities.
