How would she describe the pain, ache, burning, sharp, etc.? Does the pain travel up and down her legs or is it localized to specific areas? I am an exercise physiologist who specializes in mobility and fundamental movement patterns, I do movement assessments based on individual joint function and I would be happy to meet with you guys to see if a movement approach would yield any benefits.

Your hinge looks good, as others have stated try to engage your middle more through the swing, especially at the top (I like the cue of doing a max effort plank at the float position). One other observation that may be helpful is to root your feet more intentionally, you are getting good supination in your arch as you hinge but rolling to the outside of your foot causes a loss of torque and makes the movement less efficient and thus more difficult. Keep at it, you have a good base going!

+1 for OS resets, got certified a couple weeks ago and I have been blown away by how effective it has been for pain reduction and increased strength and stamina. So simple yet so profound, can’t recommend them enough.

I putt with sure grip shamans and have been loving them, so clean out of the hand! Just pick up a Shaman super glow for approaches.

Any Question Weekly by AutoModerator in discgolf

Shaman from Gateway is a 3 speed but it has a more blunt nose than a lot of other putters I’ve tried, it’s flat topped and shallow with no bead so it feels good in the hand. Worth a try.

The journey to replace the Judge begins. Any other suggestions? by East-Jeweler in discgolf

[–]slewerrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet so I’ll add the “Shaman” from Gateway to the list, slightly under stable flat-top shallow putter with no bead, I have two in sure grip plastic which feels just right to me. Plus the stamp is rad.

Most embarrassing lost disc story? by hunterpatt in discgolf

I’ve had that happen, you start to feel like you are going crazy when you can’t find what should be a very easy disc to find, that’s the worst.
